Robert Thmas Speener age 64 of Apopka, passed away on Monday, May 9th, 2011. Robert was born in Wayne Michigan, the son of the late Ruth (Baptiste) and Camiel Speener. He served in the United States Air Force, a Viet Nam veteran and was employed as a mechanic for Orlando Dodge for 28 years. Robert is survived by fiance' Sharon Nall of Apopka; two daughters, Renee Speener-Clark of Oviedo, Sherri Kincaid of Bithlo; son Anthony John Nall of Indianapolis; sister Joan Richmond of Wayne, IN; grandchildren Michael J and Katelyn Marie Clark of Oviedo, Brittney, Lance and LyndyKincaid, Victoria Fuller; great-grandchildren Jacob Parrott and Danica Kincaid. A memorial service will be held at Dobbs Funeral Home at 4:00 pm on Saturday May 21st, 2011, with Rev. Andy Doan officiating.

Jordan Basil McLeod, Jr.
Jordan Basil McLeod, Jr., 75 of Apopka, FL passed away Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at his residence. Jordan was born in Orlando, the son of the late Lois (Pool) and Jordan Basil McLeod, Sr. He served in the U.S. Marines and in the U.S. air force. He was the owner of McLeod Construction Company. He is preceded in death by daughter Deborah Ann McLeod (1962) and sister Darnell McLeod. Jordan is survived by a daughter, Joni (Ronnie) Herring; two sons Johnny (Bonnie) McLeod, Joseph (Joyce) McLeod; two sisters, Elvira McLeod, Charlene McLeod; brother, Eric McLeod; 4 grandchildren, Danny, Shelia, Michelle and Christopher McLeod; 1 great-grandchild, Jayden Rogers McLeod. The family will be receiving friends at Dobbs Funeral Home from 3:00 - 4:30p on Thursday, May 5th, 2011. The funeral service will follow visitation at 4:30p with Pastor Thomas Hensley officiating. Marjorie Elinor Carter
Marjorie Elinor Carter age 97, of Orlando, FL., passed away Monday, May 2nd, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Marjorie was born in Bar Harbor, Maine on September 5th, 1913, the daughter of the late Lina (Reed) and Percy Hodgkins. She moved to Central Florida from Connecticut in 1997 and was employed as a teacher. Mrs. Carter retired from teaching at the age of 83. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Meals on Wheels, RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), Eucharistic Ministers and Crafty Crafters.
Mrs. Carter leaves to cherish her memory, son Richard Carter of Palmetto, FL; daughters Jean (Raymond) Premuroso of Palm Beach Gardens, Mary (Charles) Franklin of Marblehead, Massachusetts, Morgan Keene of Oahu, Hawaii; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 801 Hastings, Orlando, FL at 10:00 am on Monday, May 9th, 2011. After the service the family will be receiving friends at 1:00 pm for a Celebration of Life at the Silver Star Village Community Hall, located at 2530 N. Hiawassee Rd, Orlando FL 32818.
