Debra Lyn Wolkens-Stewart age 46 of Clermont, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 24th, 2011. Debra was born in Orlando, the daughter of Phillip and Patricia (Chambers) Wolkens. She was employed as a hair stylist and nail tech and was a member of Mosaic Church in Oakland Florida. Debra leaves to cherish her memories, parents Phillip and Patricia of Clermont; sister Dawne M. Wolkens of Clermont; two brothers, Phillip J. (Sheri) of Clermont, Jeffrey D (Jeannie) Wolkens of Maine; nephews Jacob & Lucas Wolkens of Maine; nieces Lauren & Kaitlyn Wolkens of Clermont; The Man She Loved Jerry Brock of Ocoee and great aunt Thelma Cootes (age 95 ) of Orlando. A memorial service will be held at Dobbs Funeral Home located at 430 N. Kirkman Road, Orlando on Friday, September 2nd, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.

Abato (Sabas) Sosa
On Saturday, August 20, 2011, Sabas Sosa went home to be with our Lord. Sabas will forever be remembered and missed by his family and friends. Born in Lima, Peru in December 1933, he moved to the United States since his youth and lived in New York, California and Orlando, Florida. He was a workaholic, enjoying working even after retirement. Education was an important part of his life. During all his life in the United States he dedicated to help his family in Lima, Peru by absorbing the higher education costs to many nephews and nieces, his vision was to have them achieve their dreams. Sabas married Gayla, they have a son Chris Sosa, the light of his life; the reason of happiness and achievement in his life, he loved him so much and dedicated to him entirely since the day he was born. We the family, wish Chris to look forward and accomplish his dreams to make his father's wishes of having a joyful life and we will always be there for him in good and rough times. As a good Peruvian born in the Port of Callao, he leaves us to be with our Lord and celebrate the Day of our dear Port, Chim Pun, Callao. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 27th, 2011 at Dobbs Funeral Home located at 430 N. Kirkman Road, Orlando FL 32811. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m.

Jeffrey David Brian
On Friday, August 19, Jeffrey David Brian went home to be with the Lord. Jeff will forever be remembered and missed by his family and friends. Born in 1971 in Frederick, Maryland, Jeff moved with his family at age 8 and grew up in Fort Mill, Sc. He graduated from fort Mill High School in 1990 and decided to pursue a career in electrical engineering. He attended the University of Kentucky and then transferred to the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1999. He began his career with Lockheed Martin and continued there as a senior electrical engineer. He was presented with the prestigious Missile and Fire Control Excellence Award award in 2010. And although he stayed in Florida, he remained a dedicated University of Kentucky Wildcats fan. Having gained a love of aviation from his grandfather, Jeff earned his wings as a private pilot in 1997 and remained an active member of the Aircraft Owner's Pilot Association (AOPA). By 2011 he had been qualified to pilot 9 different aircrafts from a single engine Cessna to a twin engine Baron. Jeff was an avid golfer and had his proudest moment last year in October at Shingle Creek Golf Club where he hit his first Hole In One. At Heron Point in Hilton Head Island, SC, Jeff shot an 87, the best golf game of his life recently. He made sure he posted it on Facebook for all to share in his glory. Jeff had a very strong faith in the Lord and loved to share it with others. His greatest prayer was that all of his friends and relatives would know Jesus and spend eternity with him. Jeff is survived by his Father and Step-Mother, Donald and Connie Brian , of Jacksonville, FL; Mother and Step-Father, Janice and Joe DellaRusso, of Branson, MO; Brother and Sister-in-Law, Mike and Amy Brian, Nephews Landon and Riley Brian, of Greensboro, NC; Sister and Brother-in-law, Michelle and Joel Genereaux, Niece Robin Genereaux, Nephews Adam and David Genereaux of Haines City, FL. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 until 6:00 pm on Friday, August 26th, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Windermere located at 300 Main Street, Windermere FL, followed by the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Pastor Church Carter officiating.

Carmen Torres, age 66 of Casselberry, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011. Carmen was born in San German, Puerto Rico the daughter of Enrique Santos and Ramona Francisca (Santanta Valle) Cruz. She was a homemaker and member of Winter Park Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church in Winter Park. Carmen moved to Central Florida from Connecticut in 1990. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Fausto Torres of Casselberry; 4 daughters, Rosa Iris Vasquez of Puerto Rico, Maribel Torres of Long Island, Isabel Hernandez of Orlando, Claribel Hernandez of Maya Guez, Puerto Rico; 3 sons, Moises Torres of Deltona, Jorge Torres of Alabama, Jose Torres of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; step daughter Brunilda Torres of Puerto Rico; 3 step sons , Wilfredo Torres of Connecticut, Fausto Torres, Jr. of Miami, Angel Luis Justiniano of Manhattan; sister Amparo Santos of Puerto Rico; 29 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, August 19th, 2011 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Winter Park Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 3700 Dike Road, Winter Park. The service will take place from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. with Chaplain Jorge Torres officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests a love offering in the name of Carmen Torres.

Viola V. Schuberth
Viola V. Schuberth, 84 of Orlando passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Dr. Phillips Hospital, Orlando, FL. Viola was born December 2, 1926 in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of Anthony and Martha Schmarge Vari. Viola and was married to Karl R. "Charlie" Schuberth until his passing in 1986. Viola was the heat and soul of her family and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always made her family her number one priority. Like many of her generation, she grew up with very little but worked hard to make a better life for her children and their children. Viola was a courageous woman, who was a working woman long before it became fashionable. She not only worked in sales for Service Electric but worked together with her husband Charlie to run successful business in Chicago, Illinois. While viola and Charlie worked hard they always made sure that their focus remained on raising their three children, Joyce, Eugene and Karl. They enjoyed their life together, loved to play cards and spent summers at their lake house in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin surrounded by a huge extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and all of their children. her husband, Charlie was the love of Viola's life and she missed him every day after being widowed in 1988. Viola's happiest times were when her table was surrounded by her family. she always put family first and was a great example of how to live life with grace, love and respect for other people. viola was a wonderful mother who was always fair and treated her children with great love and respect. To her grandchildren and great grandchildren she was just known as "Nani" - the person who was always excited to visit with her grandchildren and welcomed them with open arms and an ear to listen to their latest adventures.
Viola is survived by her three children, Joyce Pappalardo, Orlando, FL. Eugene Schuberth, Coconut Creek, FL., Karl A. Schuberth of Orlando, FL. and brother Christopher Vari, Darien, IL. Grandchildren Maria Pappalardo Shaunnessy and Carmelo Pappalardo of Orlando, FL., Karl R. Schuberth of New York City, N.Y., ate Ann Schuberth and Keith E. Schuberth of Orlando, FL., and three great grandchildren Joshua Pappalardo and Caitlin and Kyle Shaunnessy of Orlando, FL. A Memorial Mass presided over by Father Bernard will be held at 11am August 22, 2011, Holy Family Catholic Church, 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando. He is a retired New York City Police Officer.
