Footprints of
Gigi’s Life
Regina “Gigi” Lee (Rivera) Rahming, 29, of Orlando,
Florida, went home to be with the Lord at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 26,
2015, at The Cornerstone Hospice Palliative Care Center in Orlando,
Florida. She was born July 20, 1985 in Long Island, New York, to Lisa and
Gilbert Rivera. Regina was a long time resident of New York before leaving her
childhood home at the age of 18 to relocate to Florida. She attended Amityville
High School in New York and Everest College in Florida. Regina enjoyed learning
and English above all other subjects. She absolutely loved to read and write.
Regina collected many notebooks in every color, shape and size imaginable to
capture her writings. In 2003, Regina attended cosmetology school to pursue her
love of makeup, hair styling, and fashion. In November 2011, Regina married the
love of her life—Michael Corey Rahming, Jr. From this union are three beautiful
children: Mya (11 years old) Michael Corey III (10 years old), and Moriah (3.5
years old). Together, they were members
of Judah Church in Orlando where they came to know Jesus as their personal Lord
and Savior.
Anyone who
knows Regina knows of her passion for makeup, fashion, photography and the
beauty industry. Although she never needed any makeup because she was such a
beautiful person inside and out, she always made sure she looked fabulous
regardless of the occasion, time, or place. Regina's personality matched
her unique style. She was sensitive and silly, yet very vivacious—she was the
“life of the party” and ensured everyone had a great time! Regina could
also be described as strong-willed, determined, faithful, motivated, and
caring. She was always admired for her sense of humor, outspokenness, loyalty, creativity,
and for living life to the fullest. Above all, Regina deeply loved the Lord, her
husband, children, other family members, friends, and her church. Our memories
of Regina are very dear and precious; she will live in our hearts forever.
