Angela Fields

Angela Fields, age 97, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 1, 2024. She was born in 1926 and raised in a small coal mining town in Pennsylvania by her parents John and Angela Zuber along with brothers Mike and John Zuber and sister Emily Klecha. She along with her mother and siblings relocated to New Jersey when their father John passed away just as Angela graduated from high school.

As she was patriotic during the Second World War, Angela moved to New York City and became an Emergency Room Registered Nurse and lived the cosmopolitan lifestyle in Manhattan. She was in Times Square as a nurse on VJ day of WWII. After serving as an ER nurse for a number of years  including at a VA Medical facility, she followed the recommendation of her Senior Resident

 Surgeon and decided to offer her skills to the United States Air Force and was commissioned as a First Lieutenant. Her relationship with the USAF and the military would strongly influence most choices she made for the rest of her life. While on active duty she met and married her love Richard Fields, a USAF fighter pilot. Sadly Richard passed away in 1967 in an aircraft accident leaving Angela with two preschool sons, Robert and David. Angela and sons relocated to New Jersey to be closer to family support and she went back to school to complete her Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees and serve as a nurse and hospital administrator. When her sons finished school she relocated to central Florida and she spent many happy working and retired years along the Atlantic Coast.

Angela is survived by sons Robert Fields and David Fields (Mary), along with grandchildren Kenny Fields and Catherine Vasquez as well as Sisters-in-law Rita Rae Nossaman and Judy Rutledge and Brother-in-law Harold Rutledge as well as numerous nieces and nephews on both Richard’s and Angela’s sides. She was predeceased by parents John and Angela Zuber, her husband Captain Richard Fields and her siblings Mike and John Zuber and sister Emily Klecha as well as their spouses. She was the last surviving member of her generation on her family’s side. She was also predeceased by Parents-in-law Kenneth and Aneita Fields and Brother-in-law Kenneth "Corky" Fields.

Angela maintained lifelong friendships with fellow nurses and relationships with all family members as well as often meeting new friends and cultivating recent friendships. All who knew her loved her numerous stories of her fascinating life and admired her dedication and support toward all people associated with the US military. She loved and was a proud member of the Society of Air Force Nurses. She was a Vietnam War veteran and was extremely honored to have been able to participate in a Veteran’s Honor Flight to Washington D.C. during her later years. She was blessed with frequent visits from friends, veteran, volunteer and church support groups and she remained forever grateful to all those wonderful folks.

On Thursday March 7, 2024 at 10:30 there will be a Celebration of Life and Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel at 5125 South Apopka Vineland Road in Orlando, Florida 32819 followed by a dedication and interment in the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida at 2:30. Holy Family Church does not permit additional flowers or decorations so while appreciated we ask in lieu of flowers those who wish may make a contribution to Holy Family Catholic Church, Orlando or to any charity which supports US Veterans in Angela's memory.

Susan I. Telleria-Guerra

 

Susan I. Telleria-Guerra age 60 of Sanford, Florida. Peacefully passed to eternal life on February 25, 2024. Born on July 14, 1963 in Jersey City, NJ to parents Antonio and Olga Telleria.

Susan grew up in Union City, NJ and graduated from Emerson High School in 1981. She then attended   Fairleigh-Dickinson University, Teaneck,NJ and graduated with a degree in industrial engineering. She then moved to Orlando, Florida and received a MBA in 1999 from the University of Central Florida. Susan went on to start her own successful business.

Susan met her husband Julio Guerra,Jr. in 1997  and they married in 1998 in Orlando. They just celebrated their 25^th anniversary.  In 1999, they had their son Matthew.

Susan is survived by husband Julio Guerra,Jr. and son Matthew Guerra, mother Olga Telleria, sister Olga Telleria- Khoudmi, and brothers Tony, George and Ernest Telleria.  Preceeded in death by father Antonio Telleria.

Susan was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She had a big and generous heart. Her devotion to family and friends was immeasureable.   

Susan was a great cook, an avid photographer, loved to travel, and the best hockey mom to her son who never missed a game.  She was also a mom to her German Shepard Zane, who never left her side.

A viewing  will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024  from 5pm-8pm with service at 7pm at Dobbs Funeral Home,430 North Kirkman Road Orlando, FL 32811

Interment will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:00am at Mount Peace Cemetery, 775 E. 10^th St. St.Cloud , FL 34769

Reception to follow at Ralph V. Chisholm Regional Park 4700 Chisholm Park Trail St.Cloud, FL 34771

Robert A. Wilroy

 

 “Bob” of Orlando Florida passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 88.  Bob was born in Memphis TN. on January 27, 1936, the son of the late V. Doris Hunter and Robert B Wilroy. He worked hard after a short time in the Army and beginning a career in computers, that led to working on Apollo missions at Nasa and eventually his own computer company. He made Orlando his permanent home in 1977. He loved his family, dancing, working with his wife in antiquities and making people smile! 

Bob is survived by his two children, Ava L. Sims and Rex (Liz) A. Wilroy.  He also leaves behind his sister Doris (Pruitt) W. Fulmer, brother Mike (Sonja) Kirby and his granddaughter Christina B. Wilroy.  He is preceded in death by his wife Betty L. Wilroy.

Robert will be honored in a private ceremony for family and friends Wednesday February 21, 2024 11:00AM at Dr. Phillips Cemetery.

James Younglove

 James Allen Younglove, age 81 of Clermont, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. James was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William and Marie (Furlong) Younglove. He served in the United States Marine Corps and had a long 34-year career with United Airlines. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois, married and raised his children in Schiller Park, Illinois, and moved to Clermont Florida in 2007.

Jim will be missed not only by family and friends but all who worked under his supervision, neighbors, and all who have been touched by him.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Helen (Edwards) Younglove of Clermont; his Children Jim Younglove (Trena) and Heather Moritz (Ricky). Eight grandchildren: Erin, Jacob, Darlene, Erik & Carter Younglove and Chloe, Brianna, & Aidan Moritz. He is also survived by his sister Eileen Younglove of Marco Island, Florida, and brother Larry Younglove (Patricia), and their children Beth, Joe, & Terry (Kim) Younglove of Schaumburg, Illinois. As well as a great uncle to Terry and Kim’s children Gregory, Grace, and Gemma. Brother-in-law Dan Edwards (Karleen), Sister-in-law Marie Edwards, and her children Cindy, Roy, and Michael (Erin) Edwards.

The family will be receiving family and friends at Holy Family Catholic Church at 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819 on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with Fr Martin in the Daily Chappel. There will be a reception following the Mass. In the future, Interment at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. There will be a celebration of Life in Illinois in July of 2024.
