Together Again

Valda Floyd Hoskins rejoined her husband, Jess Hoskins (passed April 1993) and Son-in-law George Goodman (passed February 1998) on January 31, 2012. While we are saying "Goodbye" here, there are so many others who have gone ahead and who are waiting to say "Hello" again as you enter Heaven. You will be missed by your friends and family and the many people whose lives you touched. Her memories will be cherished by her daughters Valerie Goodman (Hudson, Florida) and Pamela Rossiter and her husband Richard Rossiter (Uniontown, Ohio); her son Barry Hoskins (City of Green, Ohio); granddaughters Kimberly and her husband Roger French (Lake City, PA), Crystal Rossiter (Akron, OH), Amber and her husband Scott Klein (Groveland, FL), Joyce and her husband Mike Fetrow (Gaylord, MI); grandson Rich Rossiter II (Uniontown, OH); great grandchildren Natalie Goodman (Lake City, PA), Alicia Klein (Clermont, FL), Jessica Rossiter (Uniontown, OH), Samantha Klein (Groveland, FL), and William Klein (Groveland, FL) and great-grandchildren Willow and Wyatt Fetrow (Gaylord, MI). A viewing was held at Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, Ohio on February 3rd, 2012. Valda will be laid to rest next to her husband on the 67th anniversary of their engagement February 14th, 2012 at the Ocoee Cemetery on East Geneva St, Ocoee, Florida. Jean Jacques Roney age 44 of Orlando passed away on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012. Jean was born in Port-au-Prince Haiti, the son of Luciane (Talent) and Charles Roney. Jean was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Orlando and was employed as a comedian. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Jacqueline (Zephr) Roney of Orlando; daughter Jackerline Roney of Orlando; son Jayson Roney of Orlando; two sisters Gina Dorce of New York, Olga Roney of Haiti; three brothers Joseph Alix Roney of Orlando, Mike Jean-Pierre of Orlando and Lucien Roney of New Jersey. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 10th, 2012 from 5 until 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at Winter Garden Cemetery.

James Patrick McKibben age 66 of Orlando, passed away on Wednesday, February 1st, 2012 at his home. Jim was born in Kingsville, Ohio the son of Elizabeth (Colgan) and Edward S. McKibben. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea during the Vietnam Era. He was self employed as a sole proprietor and salesman. Jim was a member of Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine Catholic Church in Orlando. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Anita (Couture) McKibben; two daughters Lisa McKibben and Lori Aldinger both of Orlando; sister Kay Green of Ohio; two brothers Robert C. McKibben of Chipley and Edward S. McKibben of Uriah, Alabama; 3 grandchildren Jordan, Megan and Sarah of Orlando. Tom Burton Hardy, Sr.

Tom Burton Hardy, Sr. died on January 24, 2012. Born in Washington, NC on September 20, 1920, he served in World War II in the 11th Airborne Division as a Paratrooper. After his return from the war he worked with the Federal Government in Washington, DC and Bluemont, VA. He is predeceased by his first wife Agnes Patton Hardy, the mother of their children. He is survived by his present wife Ursula Perkins Hardy; son Tom Burton Hardy, Jr.; daughters Laura Lee Hardy and Patricia Hardy Howard; his son-in-law Alan Howard; his sister Virginia Lee Hurdle of Burlington, NC; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his stepson Jeffery Perkins; his wife Sylvia and step-granddaughter Victoria, all of Germany. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church Oviedo, FL. The family will be receiving friends on from 2-3 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2012, followed by the 3 pm funeral service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Annette McIver James Barnard (Anne), age 65 of Orlando, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011. Anne was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Annette McIver and Theodore Sage James, Jr. Anne was a graduate of Plant High School (Tampa, FL) - class of 1964 and attended Wesleyan College (Macon, GA) for three years.

Anne worked her entire life in the field of insurance as a Customer Service Representative and an agent. The majority of her time was spent at Cooper, Simms, Nelson & Mosley Insurance, sun State Insurance, and finally, Hugh Cotton Insurance, where she worked for nearly 25 years. She enjoyed her work, as it allowed her to interact with many people who she considered not just customers, but friends. Many of them considered her to be a treasure as well, due to her attention to detail and her concern that all of their needs be met to the best of her ability.

Anne spent her time reading mysteries voraciously and loving her cats. She loved the beauty of the NC mountains, especially the waterfalls. She also had quite the green thumb - especially with African violets. The wind chimes she collected will lead to fond memories stirring with every breeze that passes by.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Barbara Annette Barnard, also of Orlando, and several cousins. She also leaves behind two very spoiled cats. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Theodore S. James, III.

Anne will be interred in the family plot in Charlotte, NC. As would be her desire, only a small graveside service will be held at interment. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Hospice of the comforter, which provided such wonderful comfort and care for her in her final days.

Georgette Elizabeth Lamarque, age 98 passed away on Thursday, December 1st, 2011. Georgette was born in Jacmel, Haiti on September 15, 1913 and was the daughter of Elise and Rocher Alexandre. She was married to Rodolphe Lamarque and had five children; Margaret, Kettly, Carole, Lesly (bob), Marie Rosemonde and her adopted daughter Nadine. She left ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was a very reserved housewife that raised her children with honorable values and taught them to stand tall with strength in front of adversity. Georgia never complained about anything and always accepted things as they were. She was a good Christian that believed that the path to God is the only path to follow. Georgette went home to God on December 1st, 2011 surrounded by her children. The family will be receiving friends at Dobbs Funeral Home from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9th, 2011 and on Saturday, December 10th, 2011 from 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, following visitation at St. Andrew Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Emmett C. Owens, Jr., P.E. age 78 passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011. Emmett was born in Jacksonville, Florida the son of Emmett C. and Eva Belle (Collins) Owens, Sr. He graduated from the University of Miami, was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and member of The American Society of Civil Engineers. During his engineering career he was the chief site engineer for the Orlando International Airport and worked on large engineering projects both in the US and overseas. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing and camping. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years Arnene Q. Owens three sons, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Emmett will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at 11:00 am on December 20, 2011. Cecil "Buddy" Mills age 75 of Orlando lost his life on December 3, 2011. He was born on May 24, 1936 i Columbus, Georgia. For the past year and a half, Buddy and his son Brian Clinebell battled cancer together. Brian lost his battle in September of 2011 and Buddy has now joined him in heaven. He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years, Janice; his children Carolyn (Jimmy) Goodwin, Linda Klein, Sandy Clinebell, Monica Garnett; Michael and Jimmy Mills; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his children, Missy, Mark, Joanne and Brian. Buddy was the owner of Budget Fence. Over the years, through his company, he met many wonderful people that became lifelong friendships. He was blessed with their friendship because he was a good friend himself. Visitation will be at 1 pm Saturday, December 10, 2011 followed by funeral services at 2 pm at North Powers Drive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

She was born in North Adams, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Josephine (Rocco) and Antonio Spagnola. She was a homemaker and faithful member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She is predeceased by her husband Orlando Farinon who passed away on August 9th, 2010. Mr. Eric David Sebastian James was born in St. Georges, Grenada, West Indies, on December 16, 1932. Eric grew up in Grenada and graduated at the Presentation College in St. Georges Grenada. Eric had different nick names. One of his most affectionate is "Buddy:Buddy" Eric is loved by everyone he came in contact with and leaves a very good lasting impression. In Grenada Eric was a teacher at the Beaulieu Catholic School. He went and joined Granbys' Stores and then British American Insurance Company. Eric became a leader in all his endeavors in Grenada and then left for the United States where he joined the United Nations team in New York. Eric continued his education at Brooklyn College in New York and graduated. Eric met his wife Gertrude Mitchell and was married for forty years. Eric responded to the call to duty for the United Nations Field Operation Office in Cambodia when that part of the world became one of the most unsafe places to be. he served for a number of years and had a wealth of experience to share with friends and family. As a sport Eric took up hunting and knew every river, ravine, mountain and valley in Grenada. Eric was quite a marksman with his hunting rifle. Eric retired from the United Nations and moved to Florida with his wife Gertrude. After retirement, Eric could not stand not being productive; her therefore joined the Rosen Hotel and Resorts team in Orlando, Florida and became a model employee. Eric leaves behind his wife Gertrude, three daughters Yolande, Eileen, and Constance and two sons Lincoln and Louis. He had eight grandchildren and four great-grand children. The family will be receiving friends from 6 - 8 pm on Thursday, October 20th, 2011 at Dobbs Funeral Home. Gene E. Pruett went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2011 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born April 11, 1939 in Mt. Airy, North Carolina to E.P. and Blanche Pruett. He came to Orlando in 1962 where he was stationed at McCoy Air Force Base. After being discharged, he owned Caldwell Mower Sales and Service and in his later years did home repair and maintenance work. He was a volunteer fireman for Pine Castle Fire Department and later an Orange County Fire Commissioner. He was an active member at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle, later at Downtown Baptist Church and was currently a member at First Baptist Church of Central Florida. He served as a deacon, usher and Sunday School Teacher. He was very involved in mission work, having been to Brazil, Haiti and Hawaii to help build churches and schools, and went to Oneida Baptist Institute in Kentucky each summer for over 15 years. He loved to help in Bible School at Central Florida. He is survived by his wife Cecelia, sons Greg (Vicky) and Steve (Laura) two grandchildren Courtney and Cody and two step grandchildren, Nicole and Paige in addition to his father and brother Gary both of Mt. Airy, North Carolina. He is predeceased by his mother and a sister, Janice Lynn. Visitation will be at Dobbs Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 with funeral services at First Baptist Church of Central Florida at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19th, 2011. 44 years ago, a little blue-eyed boy named Brian Cecil Clinebell was born in Orlando. On September 18, 2011 Brian passed away as a result of his battle with cancer. His family and friends were by his side when he drifted off. He is survived by his parents, Janice and Buddy Mills; grandmother Rachel Collins-Perry; siblings Linda and Sandy, as well as Carolyn, Michael, Jimmy and Monica; and his niece and nephew Kaydi and Kalen. He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Clinebell and siblings, Mark, Joanne and Missy. Brian could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He lived for and loved his family and friends. Brian graduated from Evans High School and still remained close with many of his friends from school. He believed and saw the good in everyone. He loved football (especially the Gators), Nascar racing, theme parks, wrestling and just hanging out with his friends. He died as he lived, every one's friend. Brian's life would seem too short to many, but those who were with him at the end of his precious life knew he fought to the end. We all wish we had one more HUG & one more laugh with him but if he could say something to us it would be, "Don't cry, I'm Free and guess what I am not in any more Pain". We will miss his voice, his touch, his kindness, his understanding and his love. In our hearts a memory will always be kept and we will never forget. Some things I'd like to say but first of all to let you know that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from Heaven where I dwell with God above where there's no more tears or sadness there is just eternal love. That day I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through God picked me up and hugged me and He said I welcome you. It's good to have you back again you were missed while you were gone as for your dearest family they'll be here later on. I need you here so badly as part of My big plan, there's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man. then god gave me a list of things He wished for me to do and foremost on that list of mine is to watch and care for you. And I will be beside you every day and week and year and when you're sad I'm standing there to wipe away the tear. and when you lie in bed at night the days chores put to flight God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night. when you think of my life on Earth and all those loving years because you're only human they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry it does relieve the pain remember there would be no flowers unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you of all that God has planned, but if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. but one thing is for certain though my life on Earth is o're, I am closer to you now than I ever was before. and to my very many friends trust god knows what is best, I'm still not far away from you, I'm just beyond the crest. There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb but together we can do it taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too that as you give unto the world so the World will give to you. If you can help somebody who is in sorrow or in pain, then you can say to God at night my day was not in vain. And now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile. so if you meet somebody who is down and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go. When you are walking down the street and you've got me on your mind, I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. and when you feel the gentle breeze or the wind upon your face, that's me giving you a great big hug or just a soft embrace. and when it's time for you to go from that body to be free, remember you're not going, you are coming here to me. and I will always love you from that land way up above, Will be in touch again soon. It's captain is a loved one, one you've longed to see. It's time you rest and say goodbye and come take a walk with me. I've made a special place for you free from suffering and all the pain. There's a gentle breeze a blowing with the scent of summer rain.

Tonight I need an angel to help me count the stars. I need another angel and now that's what you are. "Just a closer walk with thee", a song we love to hear. I surely being sung today as a gift from us to thee. There is no greater place is what you can now say to all on earth who love you, who will join you there some day! Soon we'll all be angels mere sparkles all we'll be, to know your watching over us we'll just look up and you we'll see. Lori Lynn Wilson-Ring was born February 15, 1964 in Quincy, Illinois. she was part of a large family which included 5 brothers and 2 sisters. she taught gymnastics at the YMCA. during her high school years. she attended Quincy Senior High School. Years later she followed her sisters Debbie and Karen and moved to Orlando, Florida. She continued teaching gymnatics at Browns Gym for many years. Eventually she changed careers to become a nail technician and after many successful years she achieved her dream of owning her own salon , Salon Indulgence.

On November 28th, 2008 she was married to George Ring and became a step-mother to three beautiful, George, Lexie and Bailey. Lori has a beatiful daughter from her first marriage, Laura who gave her the status of grandmother with three wonderful grandsons.

Anyone who knew Lori would know the love she had for her animals. She had three minature maltese and two cats. I think Lori will best be remembered for the love she had for her family, her willingness to help others, her wonderful work ethic and the beauty she possessed inside and out and her love for helping others look and feel more beautiful. Sabas married Gayla, they have a son Chris Sosa, the light of his life; the reason of happiness and achievement in his life, he loved him so much and dedicated to him entirely since the day he was born. We the family, wish Chris to look forward and accomplish his dreams to make his father's wishes of having a joyful life and we will always be there for him in good and rough times. As a good Peruvian born in the Port of Callao, he leaves us to be with our Lord and celebrate the Day of our dear Port, Chim Pun, Callao. On Friday, August 19, Jeffrey David Brian went home to be with the Lord. Jeff will forever be remembered and missed by his family and friends. Born in 1971 in Frederick, Maryland, Jeff moved with his family at age 8 and grew up in Fort Mill, Sc. He graduated from fort Mill High School in 1990 and decided to pursue a career in electrical engineering. He attended the University of Kentucky and then transferred to the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1999. He began his career with Lockheed Martin and continued there as a senior electrical engineer. He was presented with the prestigious Missile and Fire Control Excellence Award award in 2010. And although he stayed in Florida, he remained a dedicated University of Kentucky Wildcats fan. Having gained a love of aviation from his grandfather, Jeff earned his wings as a private pilot in 1997 and remained an active member of the Aircraft Owner's Pilot Association (AOPA). By 2011 he had been qualified to pilot 9 different aircrafts from a single engine Cessna to a twin engine Baron. Jeff was an avid golfer and had his proudest moment last year in October at Shingle Creek Golf Club where he hit his first Hole In One. At Heron Point in Hilton Head Island, SC, Jeff shot an 87, the best golf game of his life recently. He made sure he posted it on Facebook for all to share in his glory. Jeff had a very strong faith in the Lord and loved to share it with others. His greatest prayer was that all of his friends and relatives would know Jesus and spend eternity with him. Viola was born December 2, 1926 in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of Anthony and Martha Schmarge Vari. Viola and was married to Karl R. "Charlie" Schuberth until his passing in 1986. Viola was the heat and soul of her family and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always made her family her number one priority. Like many of her generation, she grew up with very little but worked hard to make a better life for her children and their children. Viola was a courageous woman, who was a working woman long before it became fashionable. She not only worked in sales for Service Electric but worked together with her husband Charlie to run successful business in Chicago, Illinois. While viola and Charlie worked hard they always made sure that their focus remained on raising their three children, Joyce, Eugene and Karl. They enjoyed their life together, loved to play cards and spent summers at their lake house in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin surrounded by a huge extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and all of their children. her husband, Charlie was the love of Viola's life and she missed him every day after being widowed in 1988. Viola's happiest times were when her table was surrounded by her family. she always put family first and was a great example of how to live life with grace, love and respect for other people. viola was a wonderful mother who was always fair and treated her children with great love and respect. To her grandchildren and great grandchildren she was just known as "Nani" - the person who was always excited to visit with her grandchildren and welcomed them with open arms and an ear to listen to their latest adventures.

Herman passed away peacefully on July 26, 2011. Private celebration was held by the immediate family. He was a resident of Florida for the past 70 years. Herman was a decorated World War II war veteran who served proudly in the Army as a forward observer in the 195th Field Artillery Battalion. He was involved in 5 major battles during that war including the Battle of The Bulge. Herman moved to Miami Beach in 1942 to marry Roslyn who was his loving and devoted until her passing 5 1/2 years ago. Together Herman and Roslyn founded and grew Barnett Hardware and Paint store, a Hallandale Landmark. He was instrumental in starting the Hallandale Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Hallandale Volunteer Fire Department in the early 1950s. Herman and his beloved Roslyn retired in their 50s and spent the next four decades enjoying homes in Weston, Florida, Ponce Inlet, Florida and Highlands, and North Carolina. They traveled all over the globe. Herman was committed to community service and served as a Worshipful Master of Hollywood Masonic Lodge 209. He also spent many years the local and state advisory. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made in Herman name to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 where he spent his last days.

Elisa Esmonde passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 after a rich life filled with many wonderful memories. One of 16 children in the Gambescia family, the embodiment of a large Italian family, she grew up in a house filled with love and laughter. She met and married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Michael, and was blessed with four beautiful children, Michele, Michael, Patrick, and Megan. Upon the marriage of each of her children, she welcomed Travis, Alycia, Helena, and John into the clan as if they were her own. Her kids were the light and joy of her life, that is, until the arrival of her beloved grandchildren: Jordan, Ezabella, Davis, and sweet Thomas. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely, and had a little left to spare, so she adopted two very lucky dogs, Besse and Missy who never wanted for anything from the moment she took them in. Before she was a loving and devoted mother, Lisa led an adventurous life. she was a hospital nurse in Philadelphia. She rode motorcycles and even entered a drag race in her mother's station wagon! She did concert lighting locally in Philadelphia and was a touring wardrobe tech for Elton John and Jethro Tull. She worked on a lobster boat off the waters of Cuba. She was a seriously good softball player and was said to be a better athlete than her husband. She embraced life and lived it to the fullest. Lisa was young at heart, loved the beach, long walks with the dogs, and as anyone who ever had the pleasure of dining out wit her knew, loved unsweetened ice tea with lots of ice and a bowl of lemons. Her smile could light up a room, as it always did when she volunteered in Guest Services at Arnold and Winnie Palmer Hospital, and the Lisa Merlin House. She kept the Florida Esmonde streak of working at Universal Studios Florida by driving the employee tram and running the mail room.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made in her memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (http://www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/).

Ruth, as a young child moved to North Carolina and graduated from Lincolnton High School in Lincolnton, North Carolina in 1935. she moved to Winter Garden in 1959. Ruth was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Sunday School teacher and avid cook and gardener. Ruth was proceeded in death by her husband, Reverend R. Clement Lynch and son, John C. Lynch. She is survived by her daughter Marguerite Scholar (Gene), daughter Wanda Haltner (Al), son, James E. My daddy, our warrior, a husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. Five and a half years ago my daddy was diagnosed with multiple Myeloma. But that in no way stopped him from being who he was and always will be. A WARRIOR. Ask anyone who knew my dad to describe him and they will all tell you the same thing. He was a jokester. He was always making people laugh. He was the center of attention whenever we had a gathering and even when it was just the family in the house. He was latin lover, latino heat, and supernova all balled up into one! The man who no woman could resist. We would say potato, he would say potatoe, tomato, tomatoe. Instead of saying your food is getting cold he would always say your food is getting hot. There was not one day my dad wouldn't put a smile on my face. He made my mom happy for 24 beautiful years. I know my dad loved my mom with every ounce of love and affection he had in him. He knew exactly how to keep a relationship together and also how to keep a family together and strong. he would always remind us to give each other a kiss on the cheek before you leave and when you get home. Always tell your loved ones, "I love you." He was the kindest soul in the world. But be careful because if he felt something wasn't right he would definitely let you know until you, without a doubt, got his point across loud and clear. Nobody messed with his family that is for sure. He taught my brother and I if something was wrong speak your mind and tell them who's boss. Definition of a warrior. Always had a smile on his face even when you knew he was in pain. Although my dad might have lost his battle with cancer, I say he was a survivor. Never once did he let his cancer bring him down. He was determined to keep a positive attitude and never give up faith in our Lord. I know he was fighting not only for himself but for my mom, brother and I. He lived to see both of us kids go through elementary, middle, and our high school graduations. He taught us how to drive and get our driver's licenses. I remember him always telling me, "Nati always leave enough space between you and the car in front of you. If you can't fit another car in between you then you're too close. He got to spend my brother's 19th birthday and my 21st birthday. He watched his kids go from kids to adults. My daddy was named the perfect name - Angel. An angel sent all the way from heaven to touch our lives in such a special way that his legacy will be carried on forever. N one who knew my father will ever forget that loving, joking, charismatic personality of his. He is in heaven now. Back where he belongs to shine on all of us and remind us that he is okay. He is not in pain and he doesn't want us to cry over his death. We will always remember him in a positive, cheerful and upbringing light. This is how he should and will be remembered.

Maria Elena was a friend of the world. She was one of the first persons to immigrate to the United States 27 years ago, she carried the roots of her hometown throughout her existence. She had an incredible ability to communicate in many languages and her engaging personality allowed people from all walks of life to endear themselves to her. Whether in her early days as a classmate in the Liceo Tarija Class of 1972 or her early professional years working for Banco Nacional de Bolivia in La Paz, Bolivia, Maria Elena was devoted to her friends and family first and foremost. These lifelong relationships with friends were her source of strength and truly the most important aspect of her life that she focused on. Her adventurous spirit, passion and enthusiasm to travel the world landed her friendships on every continent.

She moved to Washington, D.C. in 1984 to attend school, bright-eyed and driven to start a new life in the United States. In spite o some initial language barriers, maria Elena was never deterred and quickly adapted to her surroundings with immediate life long friendships. She was driven, ambitious, and had a passion for the difficult things in life. Nothing was impossible for her. In 1985, she met the love of her life Craig Rose. They later moved close to Winchester, Virginia, where she gave birth to the two most precious gifts of her life, a son Andrew and later her daughter Stephanie, to whom she devoted the rest of her life. Maria Elena raised her family here and had a strong appreciation for the traditions and beauty of the historical Virginia and DC area.

While living in Virginia, she was one of only a handful of Hispanics within a 50 mile radius and although she was a minority in this rural part of Virginia her ability communicate in several languages quickly spread through the community. she was asked and quickly volunteered to translate for multiple organizations including hospitals, doctors, courts, aiding numerous local migrant workers and other agencies. It was always her desire to help others. She also worked professionally for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and assisted the agency in navigating through several disaster recovery efforts. Maria Elena had a strong desire to return to the south and the Rose family later moved to Orlando, Florida in 1999 as her husband received an employment opportunity with Disney. her warmth and generosity to friends and family allowed her to receive an unofficial key to the city from her native city of Tarija, and be given the title of "Ambassador of Orlando for Tarija, Bolivia". They knew it was a blessing to have a member from their homeland here. She took great joy in the sight of others enjoying life and never asked for anything in return. Maria Elena's generosity and friendship never discriminated - she was a friend to the rich, poor, powerful, and defenseless.

Her three year battle with cancer did not slow her down and would not define her. she acknowledged the disease, but never allowed it to divert her way of life. she carried on as normal, living her life to the fullest - attending the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama, cruising with her family, traveling to Bolivia where she was welcomed as a dignitary, she witnessed her daughter run in the Boston Marathon, and spent time with her son whom was launching a career and living in New York City. Her happiness was derived from the happiness of others. The philosophy she lived by and preached to her family was to consistently aim for success, fight adversity, and to acknowledge the hardships of others. She lived for other sand not for herself. Her priorities to the end were God, Family, Friends & LOVE. A saint to the end, she was reunited with the Holy Father on April 20, 2011, surrounded by her loving family She was the daughter of Elsa Marquez whom predeceases her, and is survived her father Raul Marquez of Tarija, Bolivia. She is also survived by her sisters Sylvia Feuda of Orlando, Gloria Marquez of Pompano Beach, her daughter Stephanie Rose, son Andrew Rose and husband Craig Rose from Orlando. A Lifelong resident to Central Florida, passed away April 19th, 2011 due to complications from a sudden heart attack. she spent her last days, hours and minutes surrounded by her family and friends. She passed away n the arms of her loving husband Timothy Powers, her son Christopher Powers, and her daughters Sarah Sharma and Kelly Powers, as well as her son-in-law Sandeep Sharma husband to Sarah. she was also the Proud grandmother to Jonah and Luke Powers; sons to Christopher and Christine Powers. Thankful that she is now at peace we will forever keep her in our hearts and know that as she was an angel to many in life, so she will be again in heaven. Pat was born November 08, 1950 in Leesburg, Florida to her father Agustus C. Hart and her mother Ruth S. Hart. She is survived by her sisters Kay Jonasen and Emilia Leggens. Pat was a nursing graduate of Orange Memorial Hospital and served as a Lieutenant in the United States Air force during the time of the Vietnam war. She was retired from the State of Florida's Health Department were she was employed as a registered nurse for over 30 years. She was also a volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul's at St. Andrew's Church, where she assisted many of Orlando's poor and needy. she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, faithful servant of God and a loving soul to all who knew her. A Public Vigil will be held on April 27th, 2011 from 1pm - 2pm at Dobbs Funeral Home in Orlando, FL. A requiem mass will follow at St. Andrew's Catholic Church Orlando, Fl. and her burial will be held at the Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, Florida.

Tina Lillie Kimbrough, age 48 of Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 10th, 2011 at Santara Norfolk General Hospital. Born on July 4th, 1962 in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Tina was educated in the Pennsburg School System and graduated from Butler High School in Huntsville, Alabama. Tina truly loved the Lord and was thankful for her church family at Prentis Park SDA Church of Portsmouth. She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Kimbrough, a sister Keara Greene; and uncle Robert Griffin, and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Elder Melvin and Elma Kimbrough-Greene of Suffolk; two brothers, Elliot Kimbrough and wife Caridad of Houston, TX and Jessie Kimbrough and wife Dana of VA Beach, VA; a sister Theresa Sankey and husband Ivan of Orlando, nephews, Elliott II, Brian, Marquise, and Justin, four nieces, Charmine, Tinal, Adraine, and Kyra, two grandnieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is especially grateful for the love and special care given to Tina by Dr. Mark A. East and his team; the hospital staff; the dialysis and transport units; and also for the love and joy given by her co-workers at Roses and K-Mart Dept. Stores.

Peggy Rowell Allguire 72 of Windermere, FL, departed for Heaven on Friday, March 4th, 2011 to be with her son Ted. She was born April 9, 1938. She split her time between Windermere, Florida and West St. Paul, Minnesota. She is survived by her former husband Robert Allguire Sr., her son Robert Allguire, Jr.; daughter-in-law Debra Allguire and daughter Margaret Allguire; brother and sister-in-law Ted and Vivian Rowell; grandson Nathan Golden; great-grandchildren Alex, Ansley and Aden; and several nieces and nephews.

Peggy loved music. She wrote and sang beautifully. She was a die hard Minnesota Twins fan along with the Minnesota Vikings. She was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Marge Rowell and her son Ted Rowell Allguire; a grandson Terry Lynn Golden, Jr. She was a vibrant, giving and talented person who enjoyed life, loved her family and friends and she enjoyed reading and watching movies.

Victor H. Rincon., 78 passed away at home on November 16, 2010. He was born on June 3, 1932 in Bogata, Colombia, and was a resident of Orlando, FL since 1980. He is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Dora. He is also survived by his daughters, Jeanette (Robert) Churn of Ocoee, FL and Lucrecia Baker (Russ) Cedoz of Winter Park, FL, and four grandchildren who made him very proud - Joelle of Savannah, GA, Jason of Orlando, FL, Stephen Victor of Charleston, SC, and Michael of Ocoee, FL. He loved his family very much. Victor immigrated to the United States in July of 1964, and brought his wife and daughters to join him in November of 1964,k where they lived in California until moving to Orlando in 1980. Victor and his wife became U.S. Citizens in 1999. He believed that he could provide for his family and present them with more opportunities in the Untied States, and though he loved his homeland, he also loved his adopted country. He also enjoyed joining around a table with good company, good food, and good drinks. He retired as a diesel mechanic having learned his skills from his father. He is also survived by his mother, Anais, of Altamonte Springs, FL, his brothers, Bernardo of Bogota, Colombia, Jose Manuel of Orlando, FL and Jairo of Tallahassee, FL, and his sisters, Ligia, of Bogota, Colombia, Lucrecia of Leesburg, FL, Carmenza of Oviedo, FL, and Maria Antonieta of Altamonte Springs, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews in Florida, Virginia, Iowa, New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Colombia. He was preceded by his father, Manuel, in 1991 and his brother, Jorge, in 1998. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Dobbs Funeral Home, 430 N. Kevin J. Proctor, 50, of Orlando, FL passed away November 1st, 2010, after a 14 month battle with cancer. He was born July 20, 1960 to Valerie (Mihalka) and Edward Proctor in Cleveland Ohio. On May 12, 1989, he married Penny Edmunds in Peninsula, Ohio. Kevin grew up in an artistic family and his passion for art began at an early age as he dreamed of making animated movies. His natural artistic talent was further developed while he attended the Cleveland Institute of Art and he was accepted into Disney's Feature Animation Internship program - a childhood dream became a reality. He worked with the Feature Animation team for 10 years on several movies including "Lion King," "Mulan," "John Henry," "Lilo & Stitch" and "Brother Bear" - perfecting his skills as a "Layout" artist. After Disney, Kevin transferred his talents from "Layout" to "Concept Art" at Electronic Arts; learning a new medium of creating environments within video games such as "Madden," "Tiger Woods," "Nascar," "Superman" and "NFL Street,". When Kevin wasn't drawing, he enjoyed going to the gym and spending time with family exploring nature, swimming and video gaming with his daughter Megan, having an evening out with his wife and tending to his menagerie of pets and hobbies. He always tackled new challenges with a positive attitude and a hands on approach which he was also able to transfer to his art. His loving carefree positive attitude touched all those who knew him.

Edna was born in Florala, Alabama on February 19, 1922 to Willy and Flossie Watson. Edna graduated from Leesburg High School. She met and married Oscar, an Army Air Corps cadet, and together they traveled and lived in many places including Tokyo, Japan and Kwajalein Atoll, before settling in Orlando. He served 30 years as an Army Medical Service Corps Officer and a Hospital Administrator. In 1993, COL Shaffer retired from a distinguished military career and continued to work as a consultant for Tricare Healthcare Alliance. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an avid tennis player and golfer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, of 31 years; his son, Clarke, of Oak Park, Ca; his daughter, Carin, of Phoenix, AZ; and seven beautiful grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Harry (Barbara), Dan (Elaine), Nancy, and Peggy (William). A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II the Korean conflict. A former member of the Board of the Orlando Union Rescue Mission, an active member of the Gideon's International Jail Ministry and teaching Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Central Florida fulfilled his passion for sharing the Good News.

On October 6th of 1943, Rubye Jane Blocker became the wife of Clarence "Footsie" Waters, their earthly life together lasted over 62 years. They were once again united on October 3rd, 2010 in their heavenly home. as she waked down the street of gold she was met by her parents, Joe and Kate Blocker, her sisters Sadie Jane Blocker, and Rosalie Waters, her brothers, Rex Waldo, Caleb, Lonnie, Wendell, and Gettis Blocker.

Rubye was a housewife, mother, grandmother, sister, and Christian woman. She and her husband help start churches in the Central Florida area. She was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy, where she made quilts for many years and donated them to church and mission projects.

She leaves on this earth to cherish her memory her children and their spouses, Travis and Connie Waters, Orlando, Florida, Hulda and G J Casteel, Winter Garden, Florida, Pam and Mike Clanton, Panama City, Florida, Katie and Sammy bush, Nashville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Tami Marcum, Jason and Christopher Casteel, Tiffany and Lisa Clanton, Preston and Mary Katelyn Bush; and 5 great-grandchildren; her brothers and wives, Kenneth and Betty Blocker, Glennville, Georgia, Dewight and Betty Blocker, Atlanta, Georgia, Junior Blocker, Columbia, South Carolina. Jim McRae Barker, the only child of Lilla and Grover McRae, was born on January 8, 1927, in Sebring, Florida, where her parents owned the "5,10, and 25-Cent Store." From first through twelfth grade, Jim attended Sebring's only public schoolhouse, where she enjoyed playing clarinet in the award-winning high school band, cheer leading, and attending Beta Club. Jim was named valedictorian of her graduating class in 1944, and won a scholarship which allowed her to continue her education at Duke University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in English i n1948.

Upon graduation, Jim married Mark Barker, a broadcast communications major at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. While her husband finished school, Jim worked as Secretary to the Dean of General College, where she met and befriended notables including theater director James Hammerstein (son of musical lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II) and film director Larry Peerce (son of operatic tenor Jan Peerce).

In 1950, the Barkers began their nomadic years as Mark sought experience in a new medium: television. The couple moved from Greensboro, N.C., to Deland, Florida, back to Greensboro (where son Kent was born in 1952) and eventually to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where Mark worked as a station production manager. In 1954, Mark eagerly accepted a job as production manger at WDBO television (now WKMG) in Orlando, Son Bruce was born in 1956.

Jim devoted most of her time to raising her sons. Her days were spent transporting young surfers to nearby beaches and charting laps as Bruce raced quarter-midgets. When Kent excelled at diving, Jim was in demand as a diving judge at local swim meets. And when she took in a foster son, Don Geving, Jim added football fan to her resume.

A tireless community volunteer, Jim served as chair of Orange County Mother's march of Dimes; answered crisis calls at the We Care hotline; served on the board of Goodwill Industries; and was a proud founding board member of the West Orange Farmworker Health Association (now Community Health Centers, Inc.). A passionate music fan, Jim volunteered for Civic Music, the Florida Symphony Orchestra, and the Ballet Royal, of which her son Kent was a member.

When the boys were older, Jim rejoined the work force as a copywriter for WKIS Radio. After her divorce in 1974, Jim embarked on a career as a social worker until she fund her dream job -- Administrative Assistant to the Manager of the Florida Symphony Orchestra, where she handled negotiations with visiting guest artists and rubbed shoulders with famous names of the era, including Boston Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler and ballet dancer and choreographer Edward Villella.

After leaving the symphony, Jim accepted a part-time job in a friend's travel agency and fell in love with the business. In 1985 she bought Phillips International Travel in College Park, which she ran for 11 years. Jim prided herself on pampering her beloved clients and especially enjoyed organizing the Orlando Sentinel's London Theater Tour, among other group adventures. her greatest pleasure was traveling; the British Isles, Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Australia, and Egypt were favored destinations.

Jim is survived by her sons, Kent and Bruce (Diana); her grandsons, Graham, Weston, and Amon; her foster son, don Geving (Patricia) and foster granddaughters, Shannon and Colleen; and her goddaughters, Judith Eyman and Mimi Waddell.

Due to the large response of her many friends, the family will have a Memorial Celebration of her life at 1:30 p.m. on October 24th, 2010 at the Winter Park Civic Center located at 1050 West Morse Boulevard, Winter Park, Florida 32789. Dedicated to his family, friends, and community, Will touched the lives of the people around him. Leaving a legacy through his involvement with the boy Scouts of America, he helped to shape young boys into honorable men, from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts to Venture Scouts. Over the years he was a leader, advisor, mentor, confidant, counselor, committee member, and role model. He had a real passion for helping the boys attain their goals, guiding them to the rank of Eagle Scout, and rewarding their achievements with the coveted flame plaque he designed and made. Pushing the scouts with a virtual "kick in the pants" and volunteering his time on projects was only part of the process. He also spent countless hours reviewing service projects as a member of the District Eagle Committee.

Dad's Eulogy ~ August 31, 2010

"Life is about change, sometimes it's painful,

sometimes it's beautiful, but most of the time, it's both."

This is the eulogy of Daniel Richard, Sr. he lived a very full and adventurous life from June 19, 1961 - August 22, 2010. We have a few points that our dad taught us to help us get through life. No matter how bad or how good the situation was he was always there for us to help us pull through, and give us the advice we needed for the situation, and when we needed someone to listen he had a great listening ear. He always said when one of us was going through a hard time, "life is nothing but a storm, and this too shall pass." We could come to our dad and know we were never judged about anything we did whether it was bad or good.

Dad was a very hard worker. He served a few years in the military. He loved his country and was very proud of his country. He did charity work. However, his true love and passion for work was carpet cleaning and mold. He saved many lives from toxic mold. He was a very successful businessman in this industry.

Our father was a great cook. He loved to cook because it made others happy; and when others were happy he was true. He never turned anyone away whether they were rich or poor. Dad was a loving and caring person. Always proud of his children and brothers. One thing our dad always taught us was to never back down or walk away from any situation. He was a very fun and adventurous person and we all have created a lot of fond memories with him. Our dad had a passion for music. He played an excellent guitar and was in a band for many years. He had a great sense of humor, as well as a great provider for his family. He taught his friends and family to always be the better man in life. When each one of his kids grew up and started to choose our own paths, and make our own decisions which weren't always the best choices, dad was there to guide us and assist us back to sobriety, and to the right way of life. He had a love for all kinds of animals. His dog Lucky was his best friend. Mater of fact, the saying "a dog is a man's best friend" was very true in his life. His last saying that has stock with each one of us was "Live one day at a time, because you are never promised tomorrow!"

Dad, you will be remembered by many.

Claire was a freelance writer/photographer published in many local media as well as on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Born in Boston, she was a Naples resident since 1991. She was a former member of the American Business Women's Association, Public Relations Association of Collier County, Civil Air Patrol Senior Squadron, The Leukemia Society, Stephani Roth Cancer Research Fund and Naples Press Club. She is survived by daughter Jennifer Kingsley Wilson, son-in-law Jeff Wilson, three grandchildren Alex, Juliana and Jada Wilson of Windermere Florida. Daughter Lauren Feuerman and sons Adam and Christopher of Keys Florida. Her sister Peggy and brother-in-law and Luc Begin passed away earlier this year. She is also predeceased by her beloved son Gregg Kingsley who passed away of leukemia at age 27. Also predeceased by brother Albert Connor of Naples Florida and parents Lillian and Albert Connor of Naples.
