David Lee Balser

David Lee Balser,  age 74, of  Apopka, FL passed away Thursday, August 21st, 2014 at Florida Hospital Apopka.   David was born in Elwood, IN., the son of Genevieve (Manghelli)  and Billie R. Balser and moved to Central Florida from Elwwod, IN in 1959.   He lived with his son Tony and daughter Michelle and was employed and retired from Continental Can Corp in Winter Garden, Florida.  He was also a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA).
 
David is preceded in death by wife Shelby Bruce Balser; grandchildren Mandi Renee Balser and Anthony Lee Balser.  He leaves to cherish his memory  sons David Bruce and James Anthony Balser; daughter Tonya Michelle Swadley; brothers William Robert and John Edward Balser; grandchildren Jennifer Christine Swadley, John David Balser, Shawn Nicholas Swadley, Valerie Michelle Balser, Shelby Annmarie Swadley, Ethan Michael Balser.
 
The family will be receiving visitors at Dobbs Funeral Home on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.  The funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00 pm with Pastor Bruce Clark officiating. Interment will be at Orlando Memorial Gardens in Apopka.

    Dave was the best friend anyone could ever have. We will miss him
    every day. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, we love them too.

  2. I am sorry for your loss please accept my deepest sympathy. I hope you will find your strength and comfort in Jesus promises of the earthly resurrection(:Acts 24:15) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will have to mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4; Luke 23:43. May GOD(Psalms 83:18) grant you peace and comfort now during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.

  3. So sorry to hear of David's passing. We have missed him at our Pulmonary Hypertension Support Group meetings. Breathe easy David in the arms of Jesus.

  4. Deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dave. Dave is resting now, but I hope you will find comfort in Jesus' words:"The hour is coming when all those who are in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." We look forward to that in the future paradise. - John 5:28,29.
