Betty was born July 24, 1931 in Mobile AL. She learned early
to grab her own destiny when she taught herself to drive with the family’s car
in the front yard. A young Betty was a Beauty Queen and loved watching
her dad compete in boat races. She ran the custodial operations at the
Naval Training Center Orlando. Her true love of beautiful old furniture became
“Humbugs Antiques”, first in a shop near downtown Orlando and then in Mount
Dora. Working till the end, she just finished completely rebuilding a
beautiful chandelier a few months ago. We will miss her dearly!
RIP BETTY💜🙏
