She was petite in stature, yet strong in constitution. She wouldn't allow her illness stop her from living life to the fullest. She did everything with excellence. I admired her very much.

TerriAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5198406602639215265.post-56424630641942154762013-01-21T21:18:35.094-05:002013-01-21T21:18:35.094-05:00my dearest sister i will miss our weekly visit ove...my dearest sister i will miss our weekly visit over the phone, but will have to make do with rowland lol, and you can listen in,till we meet again, all my love, god bless marg
margaret m smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5198406602639215265.post-83666069622353730122013-01-20T21:19:21.640-05:002013-01-20T21:19:21.640-05:00I was saddened today to learn of Bessie's pass...I was saddened today to learn of Bessie's passing. A verse from 2 Timothy comes to mind, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." That certainly discribes Bessie's life. She will certainly be missed. I pray that God will walk with you through your gief, but the joy of knowing she will be waiting on the other side for us will comfort us. For over 25 years Bessie has been a dear friend that no one can replace. My heart aches when I think there will be no more conversations we so often had, more than one could count. We have laughed and cried together. We were there for each other. I will always hold Dec. 10th a very special day at my house with Bessie and a few of her old friends from years ago for a Ladies Christmas Brunch. We talked about so many old happy memories. I know she will not have to suffer now which gives me peace. She was there for me through many difficult times over the years. I can only describe her as a Godly friend and lady. Also one that had so much love for her husband and her entire family. I could write forever about this dear woman who came into my life many years ago, and will always miss her. I loved her like a sister. My heart is heavy but I know she is at peace with no sickness. God be with you until we meet again, my dear friend. Our prayers now are for those you left behind.
Our Sympathy, Len and Ann GabrielAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5198406602639215265.post-30215000453857470532013-01-14T17:38:20.290-05:002013-01-14T17:38:20.290-05:00My sympathies to the Tipler family. Please take comfort in the scriptures, such as Rev. 21:4 which says that one day soon God "will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." We all look forward to that time. May your loving memories and the hope God gives of waking up Bessie in the earthly resurrection comfort your hearts.Kellynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5198406602639215265.post-57588215045938238362013-01-12T16:02:56.823-05:002013-01-12T16:02:56.823-05:00Bessie and Rowland are such kind and wonderful peo...Bessie and Rowland are such kind and wonderful people, and their love for each other was always the first thing you'd notice. How do I put into words what you were ...Dear Mom,

How do I put into words what you were to me in my 37 years. Your influence touched every part of my life whether I was aware of it at the time or not. Now that you are not here with me I find myself thinking of you and trying to do things the way you would. But the truth is nobody can be what you were and do what you did for us all. I wait for you to call me but when the phone rings it is not you. I can not believe you are really gone but I know we will see you again one day. I hold on to this verse as I cherish your memory and think of you in my day to day activities. I Thes.4:13 13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

I love you Mom!
Your daughter always,
Julie RebeccahJuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02095205196730507906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5198406602639215265.post-15755453750726224442013-01-10T08:12:46.250-05:002013-01-10T08:12:46.250-05:00Nanny,

Bessie was a wonderful lady, and she had so much humor to share with others. She enjoyed serving others so much, and her life was always Christ centered. I am reminded of a favorite scripture verse that says "But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave;for He shall receive me" (Psalm 49:15). How comforting it is to know that Bessie is at the feet of Jesus, enjoying fellowship with Him, and so many other children of God. All of the pain, suffering and tears have been wiped away, forever more. Our prayers are with Roland and all of the family. Jim and Dottie MooreAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
