ReplyDeleteIt's impossible to believe this day came as soon as it did, we always joked about how you would be turning 50 and going over that hill while I would only be 40. Now who is going to eat my Gingerbread Man house? Who will come visit us, and make us laugh, and eat our food? We joked, we laughed, we enjoyed each other's company, and you we're the best brother that anyone could ever ask for. Only a little over a week has passed, and it's unmanageable without you, we walk around this house, and remember you, the way you sat, the way you laughed, the conversations we had, and it's all memories that could never be replaced. You lived a great life, a fruitful life, and now your with God. We may not be accepting of it but they say your in better hands now. If that's true no one is more deserving of that place than you.
ReplyDelete-Love you much, your one and only brother, you will be greatly missed.
Ricky, I was blessed to be your Titi and a part of your life for 25 years. I still remember you as the little boy that I would watch run around with my boys, but you became a great young man and dad. I will miss you forever, but this is not goodbye, only so long for now. Love Titi Maribel
ReplyDeleteRicky I could have have never imagined the news I got when I came home to visit. I pictured spending time with all my family and not having to say good-bye but like everyone says everything happens for a reason. I remember growing up all the times that we would all fight and be mad but now all I can do is laugh. As we all look at pictures it brings back so many amazing memories. I will always cherish those memories and create many more amazing ones while always thinking of you. I love you so much and miss you!! Besitos!
ReplyDeleteRicky,
ReplyDeleteI miss you so much. I can't believe God took you from us so soon. You are the TRUE definition of a hero. You will never be forgotten and always remembered for your smile and humor. You were a great son, brother, husband and outstanding father. You made the ultimate sacrifice for your best friend your son. He loves you very much and is extremely blessed to have shared his few years here with you. You have instilled in him discipline and love for people that will always be with him. I promise as your cousin to do my part to be there for both Rylan and Crissel.
Your Memory will never go away. Keep Abuelita company.

ReplyDeleteIliana, Criselle, and family, I'm so sorry to hear about Ricky passing. Its unfortunate that he died so young. I know he was dear to you. Nothing or no one will ever replace him. That's why we should be thankful that God has a perfect memory. Ricky is just resting right now, just like Lazarus in the Bible, until the resurrection when he will be awaken to earthly life again. (John 11:11-14, 43-44; Acts 24:15) I'm sure you look forward to that time. Revelation 21:4 says that one day soon death will be no more, neither will mourning and tears. We all look forward to that time. Cherish your memories of him until you can see, hug, and kiss him again in the resurrection that God planned for here on earth. Your family is in our thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI remember you from high school. You were such a good boy. Always smiling, positive and a gentleman. I never saw you in a bad mood. I am glad I got to know you as part of Ms. Miller's choir. Although we were never close friends, I still had such a positive image of you. You have left a strong legacy for all who loved you. May you rest peacefully in the arms of God. May God grant your family peace and comfort.
ReplyDeleteWe love you Ricky, you always live in our hearts'
