Myrtie Lee White


Myrtie Lee Taylor White, 91, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012.   She was born March 7, 1921 in Doerun, Georgia to the late John Abraham & Sarah Frances (Hancock) Taylor.  Myrtie married Clifford W. White in June of 1938.  They moved from Georgia to Ocoee, Florida in 1944 then moved to Narcoossee, Florida in 1980.  Mrs. White moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 2005.  Myrtie was retired from Coca-Cola/Minute Maid where she worked as a fruit packer.  She was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy in Ocoee, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. White; son, Charles White; great grand-daughters: Rian Hawley & Ashley White; brothers: Wesley Taylor, Warren Taylor, Mayo Taylor, Henry Taylor & George Taylor; sisters: Bell Smith Renau, Sallie Voss Pruitt, Cora Lee Cole, Nellie Davis & Adean George.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son Clifford Jerry (Lillie) White of Maryville, Tenn.; daughter Judy Marcus of Kissimmee, Fla.; daughter-in-law Sharon White of Deltona, Fla.; grandchildren: Daniel (Brenda) White, Stephanie Salavarria, Delama (Timmy) Starling, John (Chrissy) White, Stephen (Stacie) White, Scott (Selma) White, Greg (Fiona) White, Mark (Heather) White, Christian Marcus & Kimberly Hawley; great grandchildren:  Allysen Marcus, Brianna Harris, Charice White, Courtney (Aaron) Stewart, Dillon White, Douglas Ribeiro, Faith White, Gabriel Marcus, Griffin White, Jonathan White, Jordan White, Katherine Salavarria, Kyle A. White, Kyle J. Starling, Nathan Salavarria, Rowan Hawley, Ryleigh Hawley, Shalah White, Taylor White, Tyler A. White, Tyler J. White & Victoria Salavarria and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at Dobbs Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at The Church of God of Prophecy, 159 Taylor Street, Ocoee Florida, with Pastor Ron Bates and Reverend Lester Weldon officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Ocoee Cemetery.
