Marie Elizabeth Shaffer

Marie Shaffer  June 1 1929- Nov 4. 2020 

Marie Elizabeth Shaffer, age 91 passed away on November 4, 2020.  She was born in Charleston, West Virginia the daughter of Martha and Walter Pennington.   She was born in Charleston W.V. In 1929 daughter of. Martha And Walter Pennington.

She married her husband  Calvin Clyde Shaffer in 1950 and moved to Orlando Florida in 1967.  Marie spent her carrier working for the oard of education in W.V.  Worked for Valencia College in the 70s and 80s then went to Sears Corporation and retired there in 1992.  She got to make her dream trip to Hawaii 1992.   Marie loved her church Metro West Church of the Nazarene, she’s been there 54 years and loved every minute of it, she loved her Lord and  Savior and heavens a little nicer today cause she’s there.....God Bless

Marie is predeceased by her husband Calvin Clyde Shaffer (1999); sons Micheal Wayne, Randall Scott, and Brent Todd Shaffer of Orlando; grandchildren Patricia Trainum, Stacey Passera, Kimberly Shaffer, Sharlotte White, Michele VanDevan;   20 great grands and 4 great great grand children.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ronald Benjamin officiating.  The cemetery is located at 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park FL 32789
