  1. In the last year, Jackie and I had found a new place, First Baptist of Orlando that has helped us grow as a couple and family, bringing us closer than ever before. She, A.J., Christal and I would look forward to an early Saturday afternoon dinner and the 6:30 Service. She also found her passion by volunteering at the Pregnancy Center of the Church. She worked in the store, sorting, folding and sizing cloths for clients. She helped clients by holding the babies (she loved that part) while they shopped for clothing or other baby items. Clients earned coupons by watching education videos on proper baby care and Christian teaching. The Center counsels and serves over 200 women a month, every month of the year. She was very interested in entering a training program to minister women who were abortion minded to change their mind and at least put the baby up for adoption. She was doing great in a Bible Study Group with her coworkers and was excited to start Zumba classes with the other ladies she worked with.
A.J., Christal and I went to our usual Saturday Service the day after our tragic loss to help gain strength and speak with the Senior Pastor. He knew of our Jackie and her good work in the Church community. He dedicated that service to her, if you would like a copy of the video, please send me an email, it is something to watch.
For those who are able, please consider a donation to the First Orlando Foundation at 3000 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, Fl. 32805 in Jackie’s name to help the Pregnancy Center continue its great work.

  2. Jackie had a very beautiful heart and was like a 2nd mother to me. Growing up she always treated me like her son, as AJ was like a brother to me. Although in the last 10 years me and AJ have grown apart Jackie still remained a big influence in my adult life. My heart truly goes out to Dennis, AJ and Crystal for their loss. I love you all and god bless.
