Frances F. Sweatt Graham


Frances F. Sweatt Graham passed away on August 3rd, 2014, at her home in Ocklawaha, Florida.  She was 83 years old.  Frances had been struggling with the many complications which arise from Parkinson's Disease for the last 2-3 years. 

She was born Frances Myrtie Farrar on March 18th, 1931 in Rumford, Maine.  After she married, she moved from Maine and has been a Florida resident for the past 55 years.  She retired from AT&T.  She was actively involved with the Laureate Zeta Lambda Sorority for many years.  
 
She was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend that anyone could ever ask for.  Her life was devoted to her family and there was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with them.  She will be sorely missed by all.
 
Frances was preceded in death by her mother Amy Lillian (Chayer) Farrar, father Mearl Frank Farrar, brother George Harlan Farrar and husband Vernon W. Graham.  She is survived by her four sisters, Pauline Buckingham, Marion Cooper, Pat Hunt (Jim), and Sharon Philbrook; children Frank Sweatt (Lesia), Mary F. Sweatt-Inbody, Carl K. Sweatt, J. Michael Sweatt (Sandra) and Amy I. Nelson (Layne); her grandchildren Natalie Sweatt, Andy Sweatt, Adam Inbody, Jared Inbody, James Greer, Brian Sweatt, April Sweatt Bamberger, Bradley Sweatt, Lauren Sweatt and Clifford Dye; as well as many great-grandchildren
 
The family will be receiving friends at St. Andrew Catholic Church on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 am followed by the mass at 11:00 am with Father Leo Hodges officiating.  Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

  1. I am sorry for your loss please accept my deepest sympathy. I hope you will find your strength and comfort in Jesus promises of the earthly resurrection(:Acts 24:15) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will have to mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4; Luke 23:43. May GOD(Psalms 83:18) grant you peace and comfort now during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.

  3. I am so sorry for the loss of Aunt Fran, she was a very special Aunt. My trips to Florida won't be the same. Heaven has a new angel. Aunt Fran you will be greatly missed but never forgotten, until we meet again in Heaven. I will miss you greatly and love you always. Aunt Fran, RIP.
