Alec Raymond Barker


Alec Raymond Barker, 67 of Longwood, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 27th, 2010. Alec was born September 15, 1942 in Middlesbrough, England. He immigrated to Toronto, Canada where he met his wife Mary. They with their young daughter Janice moved to Orlando, Florida in 1976.


Alec is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary (Whelan) Barker of Longwood; daughter Janice (Joe) Hoffman of Longwood; grandchildren Devon, Dillon and Halle Hoffman of Longwood; sister Joan Bolland of Middlesbrough, England; brother Edwin Barker of Middlesbrough, England; nieces Marilyn (Allen) Trigg of Oxford England, and Karen Dobson of Middlesbrough, England. Funeral services will be at the Annunciation Catholic Church, 1025 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL on Friday, June 4th, 2010 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Florida Hospital Cardiac Care Center in Alec's name.

Doris Walsh Smyth


Doris Smyth of Orlando, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 28, 2010. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William, and is survived by her five children; Warren D. Smyth (Donna) of Somerville, NJ, Stephen W. Smyth (Sue) of Pawling NY; Wendy R. Smith of Ocoee, David Smyth (Janet) of West Chester, PA, and M. Timothy Smyth (Pamela) of Norman, OK, her sister, Shirley Russell of Souderton, PA and eight grandchildren.


She attended Hiawassa Bible Chapel since moving to Orlando from the Philadelphia, PA area in 1968 and is fondly remembered for her inspiring solos. For the last 15 years, she served as a volunteer in the Foster Grandparent Program at Mollie Ray Elementary. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Hiawassa Bible Chapel 1900 North Hiawassee Road, Orlando, FL. Friends will be received by the family from 10:30-11:00 on Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Orlando Union Rescue Mission at PO Box 2791, Orlando FL 32802.

Frank G. Dragojevich


Frank G. Dragojevich, age 88 of Orlando passed away Tuesday, May 25th, 2010. Frank was born in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late Dominick and Mary (Arena) Dragojevich. He is a US Marine Corp Veteran, was employed as a steel worker, and moved to Central Florida from Pennsylvania in 1977. He attend Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory, wife Margaret (Chizmar) Dragojevich of Orlando; two daughters, Lynn Estock of Columbus, Ohio, Deborah Capp of Orlando; son Greg Dragojevich of Orlando; 6 grandchildren, Steven Estock, David Estock, Nicholas Estock all from Columbus, Ohio, Ryan Capp and Ashley Capp both of Orlando and Abby Estock of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

A Memorial service will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 with Father Kenny Aquino officiating.

Janette L. Mistretta


Janette L. Mistretta, age 75 of Orlando passed away on Monday, May 24th, 2010. Janette was born in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomena (Candello) Falcone. She was employed as a wrapper in the meat industry, member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Women's Auxiliary,and DAV.

Janette leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Dianna Mandel of Brooklyn; four sisters, Josephine Acree of Orlando, Lucy Speranza of Largo, Bridget Page of Lancaster, PA, Rachel Scarlotta of Georgia; two brothers, Anthony Falcone of New York and Neil Falcone of Atlantic City and one grandchild, Lauren A. Mandel of Brooklyn.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Dobbs Funeral Home. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 28, 2010.

Betty Loraine Russ


Mrs. Betty Loraine Russ, age 77 of Orlando, passed away Sunday, May 23rd, 2010. A lifetime Floridian, Betty was born in Orlando, the daughter of the late Oscar Paul and Mary Elizabeth (Crawford) Duke. She was employed in the restaurant industry and attended First Baptist Church of Central Florida.

Betty is predeceased by son William Robert Montgomery (2002). She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Ruth Ann Gray of Lebanon, Tennessee, Carol Lee Schmidt of Winter Garden, Florida, Betty Jean Wood of Pine Lake, Florida; four sons, James Roy Montgomery of South Carolina, David Earl Montgomery of Orlando, Florida, Russell Russ of Lake Helen, Florida, Carl Alvin Russ of Apopka, Florida; three sisters, Rosie Westbrook of Orlando, Florida, Luvinia Stewart of St. Petersburg, Florida, Margaret Colburn of Gainesville, Florida; 28 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Dobbs Fuenral Home at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 26th, 2020 with Rev. Kenric Barnett officiating.

Dieubon Baptiste



Mr. Dieubon Baptiste, age 69 of Orlando, passed away Monday, May 10th, 2010 at Orlando Regiona lMedical Center. Dieubon was born in Dessalines, Haiti the son of the late Absolon and Claire Sira (Exantus) Baptiste. He was employed in the restaurant industry.


He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Fernande (Omeus) Baptiste; six sons, Evens Baptiste, Benedick Baptiste, Lavius Baptiste, Ricardo Baptiste, Kennedy Baptiste, Milet Baptiste; two daughters, Marcusse Baptiste, Gliseline Baptiste; brother Superman Baptiste; sister Adelaide Baptiste; 15 grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many sorrowing friends.



The family will be receiving friends on from 10:00a until 12:00p on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Dobbs Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00p. Interment will be at Winter Garden Cemetery.

Martha Clara Richardson age 65 of Orlando, passed away Saturday, April 3rd, 2010. Martha was born in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of James H. and Helen V. (Russell) Rife. She was employed as an automobile repossessor.

Martha leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Cheryl Loucks of Orlando; son Matthew Richardson of Orlando; grandchildren Matthew Richardson, II; Jomely Prosper-Mendez; Joshua Feldman, Alexian Langley, Kael Langley and Laleyna Langley of Orlando.
