Family and friends, we
are here today to celebrate the life of Bradley Murray Jackson. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, on December 2nd
1951 to the late Harvey and Jeanette Jackson.
Bradley was the fifth of their six children and their youngest male child. He grew-up and was educated in Morristown
where he graduated from Morristown High School in June 1970.
Upon completing high
school, Bradley joined the United States Army, where he served his country for
nine years. During his tour-of-duty he
was stationed in Germany for an extended period and traveled to other ports of
the United States as a member of the Armed Services. While serving in the Army he met and married
Sarah Dozier on March 17, 1977. Bradley
and Sarah remained together until her passing on October 17th, 2014.
Bradley worked for and
retired from Manheim Auto Auction where he held several positions. Always full of life and energy, he found the
perfect post-retirement job, that allowed him to work with children. He became a Crossing Guard for the Orange
County Sheriff’s Office. While working
there he met Rita Gustave with home he formed a new loving relationship.
Bradley was passionate
and proud of his new job. He had always
loved children and guiding them safely across the busy intersections was a
source of joy and pride for him. It gave
him the perfect opportunity to interact in a positive protective way with the
kids who were entrusted to him. He was
also a loving brother, cousin, uncle, great-uncle and honorary uncle to the
children in his own family and the family of friends and acquaintances. They all loved being with and around
him. They looked forward to being
tickled or teased or even going fishing or running errands with him. He was fun and playful but also a staunch
believer in teaching and guiding them in how to be respectful and behave
properly.
Bradley will be
remembered as an avid Fisherman. He
always shared his catch with family and friends, being considerate enough to
clean the fish first. He is also famous
for his bear hugs and would say things that made you laugh out loud while he
maintained a straight face.
He was a faithful member
of CrossPointe Foursquare Church in Orlando, where he was the head Deacon. He served the church family lending his time
to helping others as needed. He was an
amazingly loving, and caring person.
While his passing will leave a tremendous void in us all, we are blessed
with many precious memories.
On the morning of
Saturday, April 28th, 2018, with his family and friends at his side,
God called Bradley home to be with Him.
We will all miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death
by his father Harvey Jackson; mother Jeanette Moorer; wife Sarah; sisters
Marilyn and Sarah, brother Curtis and brother-in-law James Walker.
He leaves to celebrate
his life: Brother Harvey Jackson (Laura); Sister Blanche Paylor (Forrest),
Sister Regina Williams; (Hiawatha) Sister In Law Shirley Jackson and a host of
nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and
friends.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, May 4th, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Dobbs Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at 3:00 pm at CrossPointe Foursquare Church, located at 1180 Woodsmere Avenue, Orlando 32839., with Bishop Larry Parks officiating.

I am truly saddened by your lost. I may not know personally but after reading their obituary, they must have been a wonderful person.
To the dear family & friends, the bible teaches " there is going to be a resurrection"- acts 24:15. Most people who have died will be resurrected. At John 5:28, 29 Jesus promised that " those in the memorial tombs will... come out". We can believe this because God has resurrected humans in the past and is eager to do it again because he hates death and views it as an enemy. 1 Corinthians 15:26
I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43. may GOD(Psalms 83:18)grant you peace and comfort now, during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.
