Basdaiya Persaud, age 90, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Friday, October 7th, 2022 at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. She was born in Georgetown, Guyana, the daughter of the late Somaria (Persaud) and Lil Maraj and was a homemaker.
Basdaiya is survived by her daughter Deokie Hansraj of Orlando; two sons Onkar Persaud, of Orlando, Navendra Persaud of Queens, NY; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends at Dobbs Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, followed by the funeral service on Thursday, October 13th, 2022 from 6:30 am until 8:30 am. Interment will follow the service at 9:00 am on Thursday morning at Metro Crematory.
