Mrs. Dianna Patricia Huggins, age 61 of Ocoee, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Dianna was born in Trinidad, West Indies on October 9, 1948, the daughter of the late George and Teresa (Chinnia) White. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Orlando FL, the Kiwanis (West Orange) and the Homeowners Association. She was employed as a Travel Bureau Agent. Dianna leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Teresa (Chinnia) White of Trinidad; husband Trevor Huggins of Ocoee; sister, Kassandra White of Montreal Canada and 2 brothers, Vijay White and Annan White both of Trinidad. The family will be receiving friends at Dobbs Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 29, 2010 at St. Andrew Catholic Church.

William "Butch" Thomas Parsons
William "Butch" Parsons passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 in Orlando. Butch was born in Petersburg, Virginia the son of the late William G. and Virginia (Webb) Parsons. He moved to Central Florida from Virginia in 1976 and was employed as an Auto Supply Parts Manager. Butch was a Pentecostal and was a member of the VFW, Pine Hills Little League and the Police Benevolent Association. He is survived by his 2 sisters Donna Graybeal of Orlando and Carolyn Parsons Pope of Kingsport, TN. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Morton "Mort" I. Lynn
Morton I Lynn, 82 passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from lung cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 7, 1927, the son of Robert Lynn and Sylvia Hamberger Lynn. He served in the Army Air Corps in Hawaii as a grounds safety technician where he received the World War II Victory Medal. Mort was a member of V.F.W. Post 5046. After the military, Mort worked in the fashion industry for the Robert Hall Company. He came to Florida with his family in the early 60's, still working in the fashion industry. Soon Mort started working for builders selling new homes. That's when he met Edwina. They married on February 14th, Valentines Day in 1987. After the Gulf War ended, Mort went into interior design, working for Robb & Stuckey until his retirement in 2005.
He is survived by his wife Edwina, his daughters Susan Gail Roberts, Barbara Ellen Lynn and Linda Sue Ortiz, his wife's daughter. He has three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service is being held on January 31st, 2010 at Dobbs Funeral Home located at 430 N. Kirkman Road at 11:00 AM.

Lucelia Angelina Miller
Lucelia Angelina Miller passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 to meet her Lord and Saviour. She was born August 15, 1926 in Newfield, New York, the daughter of Amandus and Ruby (Hovey) Teeter. She graduated from high school and became a bookkeeper. During World War II she worked for Ithaca Gun Company. During her younger years, she played softball, was on a bowling team and loved to tap dance.
When Lucelia was 37 years old, she was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. Joanne Longsdorff, who had led Lon and Tina to Christ through after school Bible Clubs, led Lucelia to Christ as well. Lu has taught children about Jesus since that day. She was a teacher and taught 2nd grade children at First Baptist Church of Central Florida until her late 70's and was a member of the Intercessory Prayer Group. She leaves a Legacy of prayer and service - no matter how old or physically infirmed you are, you can still serve Christ. God was still using her at the age of 83!
She leaves to cherish her memory, son Lon (Debbie) Santora of Orlando; daughter Tina Dean of Greenville, SC; sister Dora Johnoff of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Christopher (Ai) Santora of Orlando, Katherine Santora of Jacksonville, Joshua Santora of Orlando, Michelle Santora of Jacksonville, Lauren and Alena Dean both of Greenville, SC.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 10:00 - 10:30 AM at First Baptist Church of Central Florida. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 10:30 AM with Rev. Dexter Officiating. The family requests that Donations be made in Lucelia's name to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W. Marvin Curtis Moran
Mr. Marvin Curtis Moran, 57 of Orlando, passed away on Monday, January 4th, 2009. Marvin was born in Beckley, West Virginia, the son of the late Frank Edgar and Oma (Campbell) Moran. he was employed as a commercial painter. He is preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Moran (1998). Marvin leaves to cherish his memory, mother Oma Moran of Orlando; son, Jason Scott Moran of Utica, NY; daughters, Michelle Dayfoe and Lisa Phelps of Utica, Ny; sister Letha Ann Domingues of Orlando; brother James Moran of West Virginia and 7 grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends on from 11 am until 12 noon on Friday, January 8th at Dobbs Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at noon with pastor Jon Dunwell officiating. Interment will be held at Winter Garden Cemetery.
J. Gregory ("Greg") McNerney
J. Gregory McNerney, 60, a long time resident of Orlando and native of Washington D.C. passed away quietly in his sleep on Wednesday January 6 with his family at his side. Mr. McNerney is survived by his loving wife and daughters, Laura Henline McNerney, Megan Louise and Melissa Anne, who cared for him through a series of debilitating illnesses. Survivors also include Mr. McNerney's brothers and sisters Michael J. McNerney (Connie) of Ft. Lauderdale, Louise E. Nehl (Lou) of Houston, Texas, Kathleen M. Harris (John) of Orlando, Sharon T. Venker (Thomas) of St. Louis, Missouri, Sheila M. Leacock (Robert) of Orlando, Kevin A. McNerney (Ann) and Robert A. McNerney (Christine) both of Oakton, Virginia, more than 55 nieces and nephews, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Mr. McNerney was pre-deceased by his parents Arthur T. and Mary Jane McNerney, his brother Patrick, as well as the Reverend David T. Madden S.J., beloved family priest.
Greg McNerney was born in Washington D.C. where he attended St. John's College High School for two years before moving to Indialantic, Florida where he went on to graduate from Melbourne High School, and was recognized as the Outstanding Senior Athlete in 1967. He was an exceptional athlete, winning a scholarship for basketball, track and cross country to East Carolina University. Greg was well known in AAU basketball circles in Orlando and throughout the state where he competed until the 1980s. In later years he was a fixture in Orlando youth athletics coaching girls softball and basketball. The McNerneys are long time members of the Holy Family Catholic Church parish and community.
Mr. McNerney spent the majority of his career as a pool and spa designer and later as an executive with Funds for Life, an insurance business.
Visiting hours will be held at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, January 8 from 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm, followed by interment at Dr. Phillips Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Greg's family requests gifts are made to the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA, Greg McNerney Memorial Fund in support of youth athletics, 7000 Dr. Phillips Blvd., Orlando, FL 32819; or, The Barr foundation Amputee Assistance Fund, 136 NE Olive Way, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

Basmatie Arjune
Basmatie Arjune, age 85 of Orlando passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Basmatie was born in Guyana, the daughte rof the late Sarun and Budni. She was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory 9 children, Milton Persaud, Iris Sewmangal, unis Heeraman, Ivan Rooplall, Kampton Persaud, Premchand, Chaderpaul Arjune, Dovie Arjne, Derek Arjune; 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4th, 2010 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM followed by interment at Metro Crematory in Ocoee.
Daniel Harry Dittelberger
Daniel Harry Dittelberger, age 54 of Ocala, passed away on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009. Daniel was born in Cincinnati the son of Raymond and Wilma (Staat) Dittelberger. He was employed as an Area Director/General Manager for a restaurant. Daniel is survived by his parents; son, Devon Dittelberger; two sisters, Joyce (Patrick) Burke, Patti Clark; two brothers, Ronald (Linda) Dittelberger and Michael (Kim) Dittelberger).
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Dobbs Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Winter Garden Cemetery.
