Siara Nichel Jones

Siara Nichel Jones, age 30, of Clermont Florida, was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She is the beautiful daughter of Darryl Jones, Sr. and Lisa Clarke. She is the fourth of five children from this union.  She was preceded in death by: Charles Jones, grandfather and Mary Clarke, grandmother.

Siara moved to Orlando, Florida with her family at the early age of one. She matriculated through the Orange County and Seminole County Public School Systems. She received her High School Diploma from Kaplan University Preparatory High School. Siara, self-motivated, continued her post-secondary education. She attended Florida College of Natural Health and received her Massage Therapy Diploma. She attended Southern College and received her Medical Assisting Certification. Siara projected the Love, Compassion and Understanding of God as a Spiritual Counselor. She enjoyed engaging in conversations with her clients, friends and family to determine feelings and apprehensions, to help them deal with realities and develop coping skills. Her guidance, motivation, encouragement and positive disposition helped everyone. She always made herself available to help regardless of the day or hour. Her comforting words gave strength, and her smile gave assurance.

Siara loved spending time with her son, nieces, nephews and siblings. She always made short video clippings of them and kept everyone laughing. She enjoyed nail care, lashes and hair day outings with her mom, (Dr. Lisa). Siara loved the beach. The beach was her serenity, relaxation and rejuvenation time. She enjoyed taking her son, Isaiah, niece, Jazlyn, nephew, Devonte, and mom (Dr. Lisa) and Anthony with her to the beaches. She viewed the beach as a cleanser. The beach and its water brought peace and tranquility to her soul and cleansing to her spirit. In her quiet time, she would read books and watch her favorite movies (The Woman King, Conair, Harriet, and Cinderella). Siara also loved spending time with her family and friends barbequing, laughing and having a great time at movie theaters, theme parks and restaurants. Her unconditional nurturing, outgoing, free spirit, and positive vibes made it easy for her to attract and keep many friends.

William "Rob" Hurd

William “Rob” Hurd, 70, passed away peacefully in his home on February 19, surrounded by his family.

Rob was born in Orlando, FL and built friendships that lasted a lifetime. In his teen years, Rob found the two most important things that would shape his life forever…his Jesus & his June. He lovingly walked with them both his whole life.

Rob served as an Orange County fire fighter for 20 years and owned and operated a business he was proud of for 23 years. Later in life, he became a proud team member at Caliber1 Construction for 10 years. But Rob’s life was never defined by his occupation. He lived a life devoted to Jesus & his family. Rob was a great friend, an amazing father and a firm foundation for all who knew him. When asked about his bucket list, Rob smiled, held back tears, and pointed at his 5 grandkids. Being “grandaddy” was his best accomplishment and his greatest joy.

He is survived and will forever be cherished by his wife of 49 years, June, son Robby, daughter Heather, son in law Ian, and his 5 grandkids Laney, Branson, Georgia, Hayes & Pierce.

We will celebrate his life on March 18 in Henry Chapel at First Baptist Church Orlando at 2pm. A reception to gather with the family and enjoy stories of his life will follow in Faith Hall from 3:30-5:30pm.

In leu of flowers, please consider donating to St Jude’s children’s hospital. Rob fought cancer with great strength, but it was not easy. He often said “children should never have to go through this.”

While we will miss him forever, we are so grateful that he is healed & in his forever home with his Savior
