Chester Byron Butler,
age 82 of Orlando, passed away Saturday, September 13th, 2014
at VITAS Hospice at Quality Care, Winter Garden. A lifelong
Floridian, Byron was born in Orlo Vista, FL the son of the late
Georgia and Edward Butler. He proudly served his country in
the Korean War (1950 - 1954), was a volunteer fireman in the 60's driving the
water truck. He was employed as a paper sales
representative. Byron has been a member of Lake Hill Baptist Church
since childhood. He was a member of the choir and a Deacon for many
years. His favorite hobbies were fishing, camping and he loved to
travel. He grew a vegetable garden which he shared with neighbors and
friends.
He is preceded in death
by his parents and sister Jonelda Sawyer (Jack). Byron leaves to
cherish his memory his loving wife Lila Mae (Donahue) Butler; twin
daughters Pam Sheldon (Joe), Paula Campion (Scott); twin daughter Belinda
Dowling (Earl) and son Bryan Butler (deceased) (Teresa); brother
George Butler (Wanda); grandchildren Dylan Campion, Joey Sheldon, Brandyn
Butler, Brandon Dowling, Jennifer Sheldon and great grandchildren Ayden and
Collin Campion.
The family will be receiving friends
from 10:00 until 11:00 am Lake Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, September
20, 2014. The funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00 am with
Rev. Jerry Forrest officiating. Interment will be held at Woodlawn
Memorial Park Cemetery.

I'm sorry to hear about your famiy's loss. Please take comfort in God's Word. Acts 24:15 asures us that "there is going to be a resurrection." We look forward to a time when death, mourning, and tears will be wiped away forever. May your warm memories of Chester and the hope of the resurrection comfort you.
