Guillermo "Moy" Sison, 81, of Orlando Florida
passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019. He was born on February 10, 1938 in the
Abra, Philippines.
He is survived by his wife, Luisa Sison, 6 children: Roxanne, Rainy, Spring,
Winnee, Summer and Cloudy, 12 grandchildren: Yeng-Yeng, Kaye-Kaye, Ian,
Anne-Anne, Tin-Tin, Rochelle, Rainy, Francis, Anna, Vixen, Yzhelle and Elijah,
8 great grandchildren, 4 sisters: Thelma, Editha, Delia and Milagros, along
with in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Felix
and Francesca Sison, and brother Thomas Sison.
Moy finished his Bachelor's degree in Education and worked as a teacher in his
early professional years, moved on to work as a local government officer while
owning and operating a small convenience store. When he migrated to the United
States in 1995, he worked as a sales clerk at 7 Eleven until he retired. He was
well accepted and loved by the people he worked with.
Tatang, as his family fondly calls him, was a great husband, father and
grandfather. He is very patient, generous, very loving and hardworking.
His hobbies include gardening, fishing, building things, watching wrestling and
Jeopardy, and taking care of his pets (dogs, cats and fish). He is also a
musician, he can play the guitar, ukulele and violin.
He will continue to be remembered and loved by all who had the privilege of
knowing him.
The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 until 9:00 pm with a wake service at 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Dobbs Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. John Vianney Church.
