James Allen Younglove, age 81 of Clermont, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. James was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William and Marie (Furlong) Younglove. He served in the United States Marine Corps and had a long 34-year career with United Airlines. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois, married and raised his children in Schiller Park, Illinois, and moved to Clermont Florida in 2007.
Jim will be missed not only by family and friends but all who worked under his supervision, neighbors, and all who have been touched by him.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife Helen (Edwards) Younglove of Clermont; his Children Jim Younglove (Trena) and Heather Moritz (Ricky). Eight grandchildren: Erin, Jacob, Darlene, Erik & Carter Younglove and Chloe, Brianna, & Aidan Moritz. He is also survived by his sister Eileen Younglove of Marco Island, Florida, and brother Larry Younglove (Patricia), and their children Beth, Joe, & Terry (Kim) Younglove of Schaumburg, Illinois. As well as a great uncle to Terry and Kim’s children Gregory, Grace, and Gemma. Brother-in-law Dan Edwards (Karleen), Sister-in-law Marie Edwards, and her children Cindy, Roy, and Michael (Erin) Edwards.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Holy Family Catholic Church at 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819 on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with Fr Martin in the Daily Chappel. There will be a reception following the Mass. In the future, Interment at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. There will be a celebration of Life in Illinois in July of 2024.
