Doris "Bunny" E. Megargee

Doris “Bunny” E. Megargee, age 96, wife of Humphrey “Bud” P. Megargee, Jr., passed away on Monday September 14, 2020 in the Parkview Rehabilitation Center Winter Park.

Born on February 11. 1924 in Taunton, MA, she was a daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Bowen) Brindle.  Bunny served in the Womens Army Corp during World War II enlisting on November 9, 1944.  Upon her enlistment she served as a Dental Technician until she received her Honorable Discharge on March 11, 1946.  Bunny married the love of her life in Temple, TX on February 15, 1946.  They settled in Phoenixville, PA where she raised her family until 1973.  In 1973 they moved to Orlando, FL. She retired from and was a dedicated member of St Andrews Roman Catholic Church.

Bunny is survived by three sons: James of Newburg, NY, Bud of Cochranville, PA and Alan of Apopka, FL. She is proceeded in death by her daughter Cheryl of Irondequoit, NY. She has six grandchildren: Fara, Jason, Michael, Brian, Lindsey and Casey.  Her great grandchildren: Avery, Hailey, Abby, Matty, Easton and Evelyn.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 18, 2020 at St. Andrew Catholic Church located at 801 N. Hastings Street, Orlando 32808
