Quintella Imogene Bryant

Quintella Imogene Bryant passed away on September 7th, 2020 in Orlando, FL. She was born in Slidell, Texas to Allen and Tressie Cearley on May 22nd, 1934. Imogene was married to Dub Bryant for 60 years until he passed away in 2014.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Douglas and Butch Cearley, and her daughter-in-law Cathy Bryant. She is survived by her three children Brad Bryant (Sue), Bart Bryant (Donna) and Brenda Johnson (Craig). Her pride and joy were her eight grandchildren (and six spouses) and eight great grandchildren.

Our Mom’s early years of marriage were spent in Texas where our dad began his ministry as a pastor.  She served along side him as they moved to Alamogordo, NM in 1965. She worked as the secretary for the super-intendant of schools for 18 years while dad pastored Bethel Baptist Church. They worked with the Southern Baptist Mission Board in South Dakota and Montana before dad retired and they moved to Winter Garden, Fl. After their move to Winter Garden, she worked at the Family Christian School until she retired at 83 years old!

She was a servant! She loved her life, she loved people, and she loved God! Her life’s mission was to let everyone she met know how much God loved them. She was an incredible mom, Grandmajean and Great-Grandmajean. To be her children and grandchildren was a GIFT! She will be missed dearly but we are all so happy that her back is now straight and she is without pain.

Visitation will be held at Dobbs Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 from 3:00 until 4:00 pm.  A graveside service will be held at Winter Garden Cemetery at 9:00 am on Thursday, September 10th, 2020 with Pastor Clayton Cloer officiating.
