How blessed to have amazing memories, though many years ago, of Aunt Elise! The predominant memory is her smile along with her laughter. Speaking with her recently, I came to understand more in depth her love for the Savior who purchased her and her calm in knowing HE was with her and sustained her as He deemed fit. Such a glorious reality that she is now in the presence of Jesus and will rejoice and glorify Him FOREVER! May we all seek to serve Him while there is time as my Aunt Elise did! To God alone be the glory!! Love you and pray for you, Uncle Bernie, Susan and Bill. Lynn and Doug Domer, Bella Vista, AR

Elise had a servant's heart and loved her Lord Jesus. It was evident in the way she lived and gave of the gifts God had given her. I will miss her laughter, her smile, her wonderful ability to listen and empathize, and her beautiful heart. Well done, good and faithful servant, Elise Jansen! Good friend, I will miss you and am also glad I got to talk to you recently, but am thankful you have no more pain and are in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. To Bernie, Sue, and family, our deepest sympathy. She was a gem of a lady.
Dear Bernie and Family
Our hearts are saddened not having our friend in our mist anymore But rejoice that she is with her Lord We will miss her laughter her wonderful friendship for so many years so many memories of happy times together and just being able to talk about things. Sewing together for so many years and just having a fun time we always wondered if God would have sewing machines in heaven so we could continue our projects but Bernie you lost a precious wife and we lost a wonderful friend and will miss her when we can't talk or go out to dinner We love you all and pray for God's peace that only he can give us

Can you just imagine being in the actual presence of God! Elise is there and Praising our Lord with all of her being. No more pain, no more sadness. So very happy for her but saddened for Bernie, Susan, Bill and all the rest of the family being left behind. Our sincerest love and prayers for each of you. I will always think of Elise in the kitchen at Wantagh Baptist Church as she is cooking something for our young people and others. Our kids always loved her Meat Balls when they came back from winter weekends. Her smile and servants heart was always present. She had to have heard, WELL DONE thou good and faithful servant! Will miss you Elise. So glad for the opportunity to talk with you and Bernie recently.
Growing up at WBC, Mrs. Jansen was a light for Jesus to me, my father Whitey and many others. Thinking and praying for you Mr.Jansen, Sue, Bill and your loved ones.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. As you prepare to lay them to rest; to sleep in death for just a little while (John 11:11) I hope your family will find solace in the resurrection promise of Jesus; to awaken those who are now sleeping in death (John 5:28,29) to restore them back to life; this time with the hope to live eternally on the renewed Paradise earth, so that God, the Father’s will, will be done on the earth.-Matthew 6:9,10; Luke 23:43. Until that wonderful blessed promise is fulfilled, and you are reunited with your loved one again; may Jehovah God soothe your grieving hearts now and grant you peace and comfort, during this most sadden time..-Matthew 5:4.
So very sorry to all the family of Elise. We have fond memories of Elise way back when she was in our choir at Wantagh Baptist Church. We remember her faithfulness, her beautiful alto voice, her loving and kind spirit. Until we meet again...Angie and Bill Morris

I was saddened to hear that Elise had passed away, but what helped bring comfort was to find that the Bible speaks of a time when death will be done away with:
Isa. 25:8, 9: “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. . . . And in that day one will certainly say: ‘Look! This is our God. We have hoped in him, and he will save us. This is Jehovah. We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.’”
Also at John 5:28, 29: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”
I know you will still experience pain, grief, and sorrow but I hope that these scriptures will bring some measure of comfort to you.
Elise was never seen without a smile. She was such a kind and generous neighbor who will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy to Bernie who took such amazing care of her, and who clearly loved her so very much. Wishing you peace at this difficult time.
