Carl E. Booth

Carl E. Booth, age 87 of Orlando passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017.  A lifelong Floridian, he was born in Homestead, FL the son of Johnnie Emory and Lucille (Walker) Booth and has resided in Orlando since 1959.  Carl retired from the United  States Army after proudly serving for 26 years and then retired from security at Walt Disney World.  

He is predeceased by his wife Betty Jane Booth, grandsons Richard Schreiber and Christopher Booth and leaves to cherish his memory children, Carl (Debra) Booth, Johnnie (Pat) Booth, Marsha Hancock;  grandchildren, Corey, Kelly, Melissa, Megan, Michelle and Darryl, Stacie;  great grandchildren, Kayla, Karlie, Kortnee, Matthew, Hannah, Emily, Katie Lynn, Jolene, Jr, Anthony, Autumn, Hannah, Dawson, Justin; great great grandchildren, Brystol, Sammie and Blakelyn; sister Helen Byrd of Hastings, FL and brother Donald Booth of St. Augustine, FL.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 until 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at Dobbs Funeral Home on Friday, June 30, 2017 with Pastor Gene Pritchard officiating.  Interment will be at Winter Garden Cemetery with military honors.

Chetram Setaram


Chetram Setaram, age 85 of Ocoee, Florida passed peacefully on June 23, 2017 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He was surrounded by his loving family. 

Chetram was a graduate of Southern Illinois University and was  a construction business owner. 

He is remembered by his wife, Ida Setaram, his eight children, Keshav, Indira, Raj, Vid, Dinesh, Devindra, Dharmen, Mahendra and his ten grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 followed by the service from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Dobbs Funeral Home with Pandit Moniram Persaud officiating.  Interment will follow the service on Thursday at Metro Crematory, 751 S. Bluford Avenue, Ocoee FL.

William Carl Sullivan

William Carl Sullivan, age 86 of Orlando, died peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA the son of Henry and Johanna (Maloney) Sullivan.  He owned and operated a plumbing company in Pittsburgh, PA.

Bill is survived by his wife Ann; children Monica (Bob Gilman), John L. (Kim), Rita Weaver (Mark), Bill (David Cunningham), Marie (Clay Jurgens), Terry (Jim Morina), Marty (Stephanie), Bernie (Ellen); 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by daughter Kathleen and grandson Ryan.

A funeral mass was held on June 26, 2017 at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church, Apopka, FL. Interment will be held in Pittsburgh at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's name may be sent to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2245 Lane Park Rd. Tavares, FL 32778

Jeanne Marie Ellenson

Jeanne Marie Ellenson passed away peacefully on June 18, 2017, in Orlando, Florida, after a long illness.  She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Marie and Joseph Center.  Prior to marriage, she was a flight attendant for National Airlines and a professional model.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  She was married to the late Gene Ellenson for 44 years.  She enjoyed his career as a much beloved football coach for the University of Florida and always enjoyed cheering on the Gators.  After Gene’s death, she remarried Thomas Scott and they enjoyed ten happy years together prior to his death.  Jeanne loved animals and was a pet mama to many dogs in her lifetime, who will be waiting to greet her at the end of the Rainbow Bridge.  Jeanne was predeceased by both of her husbands and her parents.  She is survived by her children, daughter, Donna Mikulski and husband Ed, son, Eugene Mark Ellenson, grandson, Andrew Rivera, step-daughters Barbara Johnson, and Debbie Scott and her cousin, Doris Armstrong.  In addition, she is survived by her long-time caregivers, Norma Picard and Claudia Banton.


There will be a funeral mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando on June 29, 2017, at 10:30.  There will be a private graveside service following the mass.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alachua County Humane Society in memory of Jeanne.

Ramon Carrasquillo-Garcia

Ramon Carrasquillo-Garcia,  age 77, of Orlando, passed away Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospice at Orlando Health. He was born in Canovanas, Puerto Rico,  the son of the late Justa (Garcia) and Ramon Carrasquillo and was employed as a carpenter.

Ramon is predeceased by sons Juan Carrasquillo, Edwin Carrasquillo and Santos Quinones and leaves to cherish his memory, wife Carmen L. (Colon) Carrasquillo of Orlando;  six sons Ramon Carrasquillo of Kissimmee; David Carrasquillo of New Jersey, Agustin Carrasquillo of New Jersey,  Felix Carrasquillo of Boston,  Edward Quinones of Orlando,  Rafael Quinones of New Jersey; five daughters Milca Rodriguez of New Jersey, Ruth Rosario, of Ft. Myers, Ida Lopez of Puerto Rico, Libia Carrasquillo of Puerto Rico, Aurora Carrasquillo of New Jersey. He is also survived by numerous grand and great-grandchildren

The family will be receiving friends on from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, June 16, 2017.  The funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00 pm.

Interment will be held at Chapel HIll Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

Caroline Tyson Allen

Caroline Tyson Allen, age 70, of Orlando passed away Sunday, May 28th, at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital.   She was born in Dominica, West Indies, the daughter of the late MaryJane (Boland)  and Chamberlin Castor and was employed as a home health care aide.  

Caroline leaves to cherish her memory, husband Lascell Allen of Orlando; step sonTony Allen, of Orlando;  two sisters, Rosetta Tonge of Virgin Islands, Juliana Georges of Philadelphia; three brothers Lifford Castor of West Indies, Archie Castor of Virgin Islands, Jonathan Castor of Orlando;  2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Dobbs Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Tangelo Baptist Church located at 7001 Ravenna Avenue, Orlando FL 32819 followed by interment at Winter Garden Cemetery.
