Krishnadeo Rambhajan

 

Krishnadeo Rambhajan, at the age of 75, passed away peacefully at home on September 28, 2021, in Orlando, FL.

Funeral services: October 6, 2021. 7:00am at Dobbs Funeral Home with Pandit Krishna officiating. 

Krishnadeo Rambhajan was born in Siparia, Trinidad and Tobago to Rambhajan Sadhu and Muniya Rambhajan on January 18th. He grew up with eight fun loving siblings. He married his beautiful wife, Tara Motilal on April 17th, 1970, and moved to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. He lived in St. Croix for 25 years, then moved to Orlando, Florida. He worked construction for over 40 years before retiring, which after he decided to sell watermelon for over 10 years. He was the famous “Watermelon” man.

He was heavily involved in the Hindu temples and volunteering services. He loved throwing parties at the home and inviting everyone in the community.  He considered everyone family regardless of if they were related to him or not.  He loved attending weddings and especially enjoyed listening and dancing to tassa music.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and dominoes. He loved family time especially celebrating birthdays with cake. He loved trying different types of foods and introducing his kids to various cultural cuisines. 

He was a proud father of five beautiful ladies, Ann, Babita, Lisa, Kristendaye and Keshma. He was honored by how successful, independent, and hardworking each of his girls are.  He wanted the best for his girls and no matter how hard he had to work, he always made time for them. His favorite pastimes were spending the day at the beach and taking drives through the mountains to pick mangoes and plums. All his girls love to party, dance, and have a good time just like him. 

Survivors include his wife Tara Rambhajan and children with their spouse and grandchildren: Ann and Roger Surjan, Babita and Cedric Weeks, Lisa and Antonio Henley, Kristendaye and Jason Gomez, and Keshma and Scott Hardy, grandchildren: Kenny and Karishma Surjan, Aidan and Anissa Henley, Nathaniel Hardy and Asher Gomez, and great-grand daughter Alaia Surjan. Siblings include Deokie Ramsundar, Ramnarine Rambhajan, Sieunarine Rambhajan, and Ramgattie Rambhajan.

It is with heavy hearts that we extend our sincerest condolences during this difficult time of bereavement. We know that your husband and dad is no longer suffering from any pains he is free of all his discomforts and is now our Guardian Angel. May his soul rest in peace forever.
