Irving ("Radar") McLean

Irving   ("Radar") McLean, age 74 of Orlando, passed away Thursday, December 24th, 2020.  He was born in Las Cuevas, Trinidad, the son of the late Sylvia (Hernandez)  and George  McLean and was employed as a musician.

Two of his favorite scriptures were:

The Magnificat

-My Soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior; Because he has regarded the lowliness of his handmaid; For behold; henceforth all generations shall call me blessed; Because He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name; And his mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear him. He has shown might with his arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has given help to Israel, his servant, mindful of his mercy Even as he spoke to our fathers to Abraham and to his seed forever.

Prayer to Saint Michael

Saint Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, Cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who wander through the world seeking the ruin of the souls. Amen.

"A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who... raised their mind with humble confidence to God.

His Girlfriend -Marilyn Roopchand- would like everyone to know : "He was a Decent loving person who was loved by lots of people throughout the world."  He loved watching westerns, catching up on the phone with family, walking 2 miles everyday at sunrise to compete with his neighbor Ms. Heidi, talking with his Girlfriend Marilyn 3 times a day, bussin a cook, our dog Nikki, The Los Angeles Lakers, and probably most of all music, making it, performing it, everything about it.

Irving leaves to cherish his memory sons, Daniel, David and Phil McLean; brothers Julio, Glen, and Eric; sisters Margaret, Glenda, Rose, Daffa and Rhonda; numerous cousins who he loved and spoke with weekly.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 31st, 2020 at Dobbs Funeral Home in Orlando, FL  with Pastor Thomas Hensley officiating.
