I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43. may GOD(Psalms 83:18)grant you peace and comfort now, during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.

It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love; and when it happens , the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your love one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your love one is up in heaven. The bible, holds a out a much different hope. At Job 14:14,15, it says that the God of comfort Jehovah, yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them alive on earth. I really hope this thought brings family and friends comfort.

My maiden name is Lennie and I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I spotted Rev. 21:3,4 from the first post here. It is a very encouraging promise God gives us. This verse along with many others brings me comfort when I am mourning my lost loved ones. I am in fact the last Lennie left in almost all of Canada. I may have lost my physical family in death but I have a huge spiritual family of brothers & sisters. Please have comfort knowing you & your loved one, Tom, will see each other again.
