To the family and friends, I may not know you personally but after reading this obituary, your dear loved one must have been a wonderful person. The bible teaches " there is going to be a resurrection"- acts 24:15. Most people who have died will be resurrected. At John 5:28, 29 Jesus promised that " those in the memorial tombs will... come out". We can believe this because God has resurrected humans in the past and is eager to do it again because he hates death and views it as an enemy. 1 Corinthians 15:26. I engage in this activity because I am genuinely interested in comforting those who have lost a loved one. Have you ever asked what happens to us when we die? Is there any hope for the dead? Can the dead really live again? I encourage you to visit JW.ORG for more information that highlight what the bible teaches on various subject matters.

Just learned of my Uncle passing 11 months ago. Uncle Dick was my Godfather. Not a single year passed when Uncle Dick and Aunt Alma didn't send me a birthday card. I made the daunting 5,500 mile trip from Baltimore to Elmendorf SAC Air Force Base with Uncle Dick when he bought a Station Wagon in Detroit. We slept in the car, ate more Spam than I care to think about and went far out of the way to be sure we didn't miss Mass on Sunday. That was when the ALCAN was 1200 miles of unpaved road. It was an awesome journey for this teenager and I have only happy thoughts. I was in Anchorage and saw Carolyn take her first steps in her crib. I later visited with my favorite Aunt and Uncle in Mexico and a few times in Orlando. My wife and I agreed that Uncle Dick, Aunt Alma and their children were the gold standard for a happy, healthy, holy American family. That's how I'll always remember them. And so it is. Charles
