In 1979 she met her soulmate Peter Clark. For 39 years Jackie and Peter built a life together in New Windsor, NY. They enjoyed their children, their grandchildren vacations to Cape Cod, going to the movies, but they especially enjoyed just being together. Their adoration for each other will live on for generations to come.
Jackie also started working at West Point Tours in 1979. She started as a bus driver and then went on to running the dispatch office where she stayed until her early retirement in 2018. She was a leader, a teacher, a mother to some, a friend to all. Her heart was huge. Her laughter - contagious. She loved Halloween and Christmas. And her "Peter" stories would crack the whole room up. She was larger than life. And she will be painfully missed.
She is predeceased by her parents and her loving husband Peter. Jackie is survived by her 2 daughters Stephanie Bartholomew and Corinne (Simon) Uht. Grandchildren: Ashley (Eli) Jacobson, Alecia (Andrew) Seletsky, Riley Uht and Simon Uht. Great grandchildren Cooper and Olive Seletsky. Her sisters Barbara (Carmen) St. George and Pam (Kevin) Stock. Her nieces and nephews: Nick, Patty, CJ, Todd and Nicole. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on August 5th, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm at Brooks Funeral Home in Newburgh, NY. A celebration of life will be held immediately at the Temple Hill Tavern in New Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jackie's name to The Green County Women's League, Cancer Patient Aid, PO Box 341, Round Top, NY 12473.
