Eric Eugene Lutes

Eric Eugene Lutes, known to everyone as “Rick”. Passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2021. Rick was born on January 14,1960 in Connersville Indiana. He was the oldest of six children born to Richard & Eileen Lutes.

Rick graduated from Connersville High School in 1978. He found his passion for carpentry while taking building trades in High School. He would later move to Florida to own & operate Rick’s Framing Incorporated for 35 years. He was by far one of the hardest working men we will ever know. Rick had an outstanding ability to read a blueprint and navigate the project to completion even when pertinent information was left off the blueprints. Rick inspired many to pursue their own dreams just as he did.

Rick enjoyed spending time with family, deep sea fishing, and foraging through the woods for Morell Mushrooms.

Rick will be lovingly missed by his father Richard Lutes, his wife Tammy Lutes, his children: daughter Tara Spalding (Jason), sons Joshua and Austin Lutes. Stepdaughter Amy Sailor and Mother-in-Law-Betty Marshall. Sister Lorie (Chauncey) Springer, Brother Troy (Stacey) Lutes, Brother Kevin (Cathy) Lutes, Sister Lisa (Dale) Bloom. Grandson Brady Spalding and Step Grandsons Brandon Faber and Trevor Backer and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Eileen Lutes Nichols and his youngest brother Michael Lutes, both of Connersville, Indiana.

Rick will be remembered for his integrity, work performance, and his generosity.  Rick’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.  The funeral service will follow visitation on Friday, July 2, 2021 at The Lakeside Church with Pastor Jason Hitte officiating.  The church is located at 100 County Line Court, Oakland FL 34787.

Rick,
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
The rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Tammy and Rick's family,
So sorry for your loss. May the Lord strengthen each of you during this time of grief.
Love, Hugs, and Prayers,
Jane Hinners Smith

Rick and I were inseparable growing up. I always wondered how he was and after seeing this I can see he was still the same great person I knew growing up. Many prayers to Tammy and the family and sending my deepest sympathy. Love, Robin Spaulding
