Kathie and family, my heart aches for you. I will cherish the last time I saw David at the diocesan convention in Melbourne this past February. In typical David style he gave me a big hug and we had a wonderful chat. He was so proud of his grandkids and I am sure his death leaves a big hole in their hearts. You will all be in my prayers. He was a special man and they broke the mold when they made him.

I was surprised to learn of David's passing. He was a great man and friend. We had many great times working the pit crew at Cypress Creek when the boys were there. I have very fond memories of our time spent together, especially going to Indianapolis. God bless you Katie and boys and cherish the memories of David. I know I will.

Kathie and family, we are so sorry about David's passing and the hole it leaves in your heart. May Jesus wrap His arms around you all, comfort you and give you His peace. David was a man of the Lord, always willing to do anything for his church...and his family. We will miss his presence, his smile and his positive words. Heaven has gained an angel who is probably already carrying the cross and singing His praises.

David and I were friends from a very early childhood. We were next door neighbor's on Fruitland Drive, in East Ridge TN..They moved in when we were around 8 or 9 year's old. My mother got her dr8ver's license about then. She took us to school every morning. She put us in the back seat in case she had a wreck. She was a terrible driver. We laughed all the way. We were always in trouble.
I have often wondered what happened to him and his family. They were wonderful folk's. I went to VBS every summer with them. I am going to be Praying for the family. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
