Jerry David Eggebrecht, age 78, a longtime resident of Orlando peacefully passed away Monday, January 1, 2024. Jerry was born in Vincennes, IN, the son of the late Harry (Buzz) Eggebrecht and Mary (Lib) Eggebrecht. Jerry enjoyed sports, his work, being a Sunday school teacher and most importantly providing for his family. Jerry was a dedicated husband and Father and is survived by his three children, Eric (Merry) Eggebrecht, Elizabeth (Jamie) Shepherd, and Nicholas (Vicky) Eggebrecht. He also leaves behind his brother Guy Thomas (Nancy) Eggebrecht of Phoenix, AZ and sister Kathleen (Marty) Thornton of Bloomington, IL as well as seven grandchildren; Jace, Kaleigh, Jett, Cameryn, Isabella, Kiersten, and Emily, to cherish his memory. Jerry is proceeded in death by his brother Morris Eggebrecht and his beloved wife Patty.
Visitation
will be at First Baptist Church of Orlando – Henry Chapel on Monday, January
8th, 2024 from 11:00 -12:00 pm with the funeral to follow. The processional
will be held to the interment at Dr. Phillips Cemetery, 5398 Apopka-Vineland
Road following the service.
