Holly and Mackenzie, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your tragic loss. I can't help but smile when I think back to the years when Buddy and I worked together in Tampa. He was truly one of the good guys.

Holly - we have never met, but I am the sister of your neighbor, Pamela North. I spoke with her yesterday and she told me about your terrible loss. I wanted to tell you how sorry I am, and to let you know that I will be praying for you and your beautiful little girl, and will be asking my church to do the same. It's so hard to understand why God would let such a terrible thing happen to such a wonderful man, but know that He is there to give you strength and peace. When my 2-month old grandson, Darin passed away, my Pastor's wife quoted this scripture to me, and I have found peace and comfort in these words more often than I can remember. It's found in Psalms 34, the 18th verse. It says, "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite (crushed) spirit." Hang onto God during this difficult time. Jean Bush

Holly, it was great to see you and your family. It was a tough couple of days and I know the road ahead seems like one long "knife's edge" hike. Stay close to your family and friends. God will work through them to hold you up. Ask Him to take away all your worries, all of your sadness, and all of your despair. He will answer your prayers if you only ask. Know that I and that many others here in Michigan are praying for you and Mackenzie. Carpe Diem, Brian
