Georgina Chan Perdomo

Georgina Chan Perdomo, age 67, of Orlando, Florida, returned home to our Lord Yeshua Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 11, 2023.  Georgina was born in Caracas, Venezuela on June 14, 1955.  Her family moved to Miami, Florida where she graduated high school from Academy of the Assumption.

She always wanted to be a doctor, wife, and mother and that dream began when she met Alex in a college inorganic chemistry class in Miami.  They were married on December 26, 1975 and she met her Pre-Med requirements at Florida International University.  She went on to medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo and graduated from medical school cum laude.  She then attended Wayne State University in Michigan for an internship in internal medicine and completed her residency in family medicine with the University of Minnesota. She went on to faithfully serve the Central Florida community as a Board Certified Family Physician in private practice alongside her husband Alex until her passing.

Georgina was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family deeply.  She lived her life to the fullest and loved adventure.  She was also an avid reader, talented painter, world traveler, a keen businesswoman, and a dedicated student and teacher of the Bible.  She was a woman of strong faith who touched many lives and enthusiastically shared the Good News of salvation with those around her.

Georgina was preceded in death by her dad Neville Chan, mom Hilda Aldao Chan, and brother Juan Chan. She is survived by her husband Alex Perdomo; children Gabriel (Dawn) Perdomo, Melisa (Rob) Roy, and Katerina (Bryan) Percy; brother Alexander (Maria) Chan; ten grandchildren; and countless other family, friends, coworkers, and brothers and sisters in the Lord.
