Ruth F. Austin

Ruth F. Austin, age  87 of Orlando, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at Orlando Lutheran Tower.  She was born in St Thomas, Virgin Islands,  on August 5, 1930 daughter of the late Clarita (Blyden)  and William  Macks.  Ruth was employed in the Division of Licensing for the US Government and was a member of Sanctuary of Praise Ministries, Church of God by Faith of Orlando.  

As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many.  Her Christian life and spirit will remembered in the lives of all who knew her.   Ruth's life will forever be cherished by her son Deane Austin of Orlando;  three sisters Inez and Mae Marks both of the Bronx, NY; Grace Roberts, of Orlando; niece Kishma Vincent of Jacksonville and special friend Ada L. Figueroa of Atlanta.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, followed by the funeral service on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Dobbs Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Winter Garden Cemetery.

Michael James Chmielewski

Michael James Chmielewski,  age 59 of Winter Park, FL passed away Thursday, September 21st, 2017 at Florida Hospital Orlando, Orlando.  He was born in Hartford, CT the son of Muriel A. (Kurz)  and Raymond S. Chmielewski.  Michael served in the U.S. Navy and was an elevator mechanic.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory wife Vanusa Cristiana (Santos) Chmielewski; two daughters Christine Lucas, Julia Chmielewski; three sons Shane KroegerAlex Kroeger, James Chmielewski; four sisters, Carolyn Stefaniw, Lori Miller, Theresa Carterm  Renee Flores; two brothers, Mark Chmielewski, Roy Chmielewski; and 7 grandchildren

A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Orlando at 10:30 AM, on Friday, September 29, 2017 followed by interment at 2:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

Martha Robles

Martha Robles,  age 60, of Orlando passed away Sunday, September 17th, 2017 at Florida Hospital Orlando.  She was born in Havana, Cuba the daughter of the Juan and Delia (Izquierdo) Rosendo and was a homemaker.

Martha is survived by her husband Raymond  Robles; daughter Jacklyne Robles; two sons Christopher and Eric Robles all of Orlando; brother Jean Carlos Rosenda of Miami; aunts Hayde Izquierdo of Miami and Ophelia Roca of New York.

The family will be receiving friends at Dobbs Funeral Home  on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 4:00 until 5:30 pm followed by the funeral service at 5:30 pm with Deacon Laurence Herbert officiating.

Vikkie Michelle Cora

Vikki Michelle Cora was born on August 14, 1971 in Orlando Florida to the late Mitchell and Lorene (Dale) Sapp.  She was the last born out of 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls).  Vikki graduated from Early High School on June 19, 1990 in Barkley, Georgia and started working when she was 17 years old.  At the age of 20, on March 6, 1991 she gave birth to a set of twins (girl and boy) Adrienne and Adonnis.  She made her career as a nursing assistant Courtyard Orlando for almost 20 years before retiring due to illness, and was an active member of New Jerusalem City of God for the past 2 ½  years  until she became ill and went to the nursing home. 

She was a sweetheart of a young woman who would help anybody in need.  She would feed you if you were hungry and give you her very last.   Vikki loved going to the movies, reading her Bible, writing in her journal, going out to eat, cooking and assisting the needy.  She wanted to buy/own her own house, travel around the world, own her own business either a restaurant, a salon or nursing home.  She also wanted to start charities to help others and people with help problems.  On August 27, 2017 at 9:30 am., God saw that she could no longer carry the burden of suffering in silence, so He called her home peacefully in her hospital bed at Florida Hospital in Orlando.   She will be greatly missed.  Words can’t describe how great of a woman she was, just incredible.

Vikki is preceded in death by brothers Joe Louis Cora (1962-2015), Ray  Timothy Cora (1966-1998 and sister Lisa Cassandra Cora,  and leaves to cherish her memory, twins Adrienne and Adonnis Cora; sister Lisa Cassandra Cora; nieces Malvia, Patrice, Jessica, Cristal, and her nephew Patrick.


The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at Dobbs Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Emil Saint-Vil officiating.

Richard Rodriguez, age 33 of Orlando, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017.  He was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Zoraida Hernandez and Jorge Rodriguez.

Ellen Elizabeth Mee

Ellen Elizabeth Mee, age 36, of Orlando, FL passed away Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 at Florida Hospital Orlando. She was born in Sevierville, Tennesse, the daughter of Ann (Hut)  and Clarence Hill.  Ellen was employed as a Food Sensory Scientist at Coca Cola and was a member of First Baptist Church of Orlando.  

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Marie Williams Chapel at First Baptist Church of Orlando located at 3000 John Young Parkway, Orlando with Pastors Chris Ogden and Jeff McLaighlin officiating.

Visitation in Tennessee will be held from 12:30 until 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel, located at 6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville,  Tennessee followed by the funeral service at 2:30 pm and interment at Edgewood Cemetery.

Billie Ann Klementowski, age 60 of Orlando, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2017.  Billie was born in Zwolle, Louisiana and was employed as a logistics manager and member of Church at the Cross in Orlando.

She leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband Deacon Adam Klementowski of Orlando; sons Aaron Klementowski of Seminole, FL, Jason Marchello of Las Vegas, NV,  Robert Marchello of Satellite Beach, FL; granddaughters Juliana Marchello, Alexa Marchello both of Satellite Beach, FL, Annalisa Marchello of Las Vegas, NV; Victoria Campos of Satellite Beach; grandson Kevin Campos also of Satellite Beach, FL; sisters Kay Bearden of Little Rock, AR, Alice Faye of Las Vegas, NV;  daughters in law, Olga Marchello of Satellite Beach, FL, Meagan Klementowski of Seminole, FL, and Nikki Marchelllo of Las Vegas.

Terry Lee Bean, age 70 of Orlando, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017.  He was born in Tiffin, Ohio the son of Theodore and Esther (Haines) Bean and was employed as a transportation driver.

Phoebe Anne (Walker) Hughes, age 87, passed away peacefully, August 7, 2017.  She was predeceased by her son Tony and her husband John Joseph, Jr., and brother James Marion.  Survivors include her son James J. Hughes, his wife Carol (Wilson), grandson John W., daughter Lee A. Yarborough, husband Joe, grandson Jason J., granddaughter Courtney L. (Porter); 4 great granddaughters, Annabelle, Emelia Yarborough, Avery, Tessa Porter and sister Ruby Inez.

Viewing will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Dobbs Funeral Home, 430 N. Kirkman Rd, 32811 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with the service at 11:00 am with interment immediately after at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703.

Lunch will be served at the Yarborough home immediately following the graveside service.

Vincent Augustus Thompson, Sr., age  89, of Orlando, passed away Tuesday, August 1st, at his residence.  He was born in Neuvitas Camague, Cuba, the son of the late Dulcina (Smith)  and Claudius Thompson.  Vincent was employed as a food service production supervisor and a member of Church of the Ascension Orlando. 

Vincent leaves to cherish his memory; wife Beryl (Williams) Thompson of Orlando; two daughters Angela Brown and Lorna Charles, both of New York;  three sons Leslie Thompson,  Vincent Thompson, Jr., Roy Thompson all of Cuba; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Pau Cun Phu, age 66 of Orlando, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017.  He was born in Vietnam, the son of Phi and Sy (Ly) Phu.  Pau was the owner of a dry cleaning business.

Gary Walter Crawford Meloon

Gary Walter Crawford (AKA Gar-Bear and Lil' G) entered into his heavenly home on Saturday, July 22, 2017.  This world lost a beautiful soul who brightened the lives of many with his curls, smile, laugh, and caring heart.  Gary was raised in Orlando and was a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management. As a 5th generation Meloon of Correct Craft, Gary was currently working in the boating industry with his family at Southeast Marine and Sales and was planning to attend the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management Master's Program in the fall.  Gary leaves to cherish his memory, parents Walter Gary and Ardis Meloon, brother and sister-in-law Nathan and Hannah Meloon, grandparents Walter and Barbara Meloon and William and Sallie Harrar in addition to aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends with whom Gary cared for deeply.  The family will be receiving friends from 3:00-3:45 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at The First Baptist Church Orlando (Faith Hall), located at 3000 South John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida, 32805.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in memory of Gary to Liz's Legacy, P.O. Tremaine Marquize Rumph

On September 14, 1991, the life and journey of Tremaine Marquize began.  Born in Orlando Florida to the parents of Johnny Rumph (Atlanta, GA) and Wanda Chambliss (Orlando, FL).   He grew up in Tangelo Park and learned valuable life lessons from his loving grandmother.   However, this short, but life-filled journey ended July 10, 2017.  Tremaine attended Orange County public schools with the dream of becoming his own businessman.  After finishing school Tremaine welcomed his loving and precious daughter Ma’kyla.

After a few short years of living in Orlando, Tremaine’s journey led him to Atlanta, Georgia, where he saw an opportunity to start a new and better life, with a chance to pursue his dreams and passions. However, this short, but life-filled journey here on earth ended July 10, 2017.

He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Mary Alice Walker and William Ray Hamilton (Orlando FL) .  Tremaine leaves footsteps of his journey to his daughter Ma'kyla Simone Rumph (Orlando FL), his devoted father Johnny Rumph (Atlanta, GA), and his loving mother Wanda Chambliss (Orlando, FL); A loving Maternal Grandmother Mable Chambliss (Orlando FL).  He also leaves behind 3 sisters Ashely Nicole Williams, Latoya Rumph, and Melissa Brummitt (Orlando FL); 2 brothers Edwin Jefferla Bellamy (Orlando FL) and Larry Freeney Jr. (Orlando FL); He has 4 Aunts Diane Hamilton (Groveland  FL)  Mary J Eutsey   Alice Rumph (Orlando FL) and Penny Chambliss (Port St.Lucie FL); 8 Uncles William R. Robert Lee Parrish

A Time to Be Born/Sunrise
Robert Parrish was born in Carrboro, North Carolina on November 29, 1934 to the late Robert Parrish and Lillie Atwater-Parrish. Affectionately known as “Jack”, Robert received his education in the Orange County School System, graduating from Lincoln High School (Class of 1954). As a youth, he joined and attended Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

A Time to Love
On a beautiful winter day, November 27, 1955, Robert eloped with Gwendolyn Snipes, his High School sweetheart. The newlyweds enjoyed their time in their native City, Robert worked at UNC, while Gwendolyn attended Winston-Salem State. In 1958 the couple moved to New York City. It was during this time, a son, Ricky L. Parrish (preceded in death), was welcomed into this union.

A Time to Enjoy Life
Robert was an avid sports fan, he loved football, baseball, softball, and bowling. He was the youngest player to play for the “Chapel Hill Dons”. After 26 years of employment with the New York City Transit Authority, Robert retired and moved to Orlando, Florida. Welcoming himself to a new community, it was very common to see him mentoring teens and young adults. He became a Charter Member at Grace Bible Church where he attended and served faithfully (singing in the Men’s Choir, providing leadership and inspiration at the Men’s Mission). Serving God and His people was his profound passion.
            
                     A Time to Mourn/Sunset
On a warm summer evening, Friday, July 14, 2017, Robert Parrish 82 of Orlando, Florida departed this life and entered into eternal rest. Robert was very generous, he used his time and talents to help family, friends and the community. He was a loving father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Mrs. Gwendolyn Parrish, a brother, Mr. Stanley Parrish (Princess) of Chapel Hills, NC, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Gloria Crockett of Raleigh, NC, a brother-in-law, Mr. Robert Snipes (Esther) Fayetteville, NC and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.

James Arthur Llewellyn Barnard

James Arthur Llewellyn Barnard, Age 79 of Orlando, Florida passed peacefully on July 7, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. John’s, Antigua, WI; The son of the late Evangeline Ursula Barthley and Keithley Llewellyn Barnard. He migrated to the US in the 60’s to further his opportunities. 

James leaves to cherish his memory sons Alexis, Darryl, and Trevor; Daughter Samantha; Sisters Gloria, Kathleen, Eulyn, and Bonnilyn; Brothers Lionel and Myron; 14 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, too numerous to name.

Jere Richard Cockley

Jere Richard Cockley, age 66 of Casselberry, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at his residence.  He was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania the son of Eugene Richard and Margret (Foote) Cockley.  Jere served in the United States Air Force and was employed as an aerospace master electrician.  

Jere leaves to cherish his memory wife Toya (Sensing) Cockley of Casselberry; sister Susy Dickson of Maitland; nephew David Dickson of Maitland; nieces Maggie Shoaf of Maitland and Elizabeth McMillan also of Maitland; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece also of Maitland.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the Moose Lodge in Orlando.

Joseph Alan McGara, age 50, of Mount Dora, FL passed away Monday, May 8th, 2017 at Florida Hospital Orlando.  He was born in Jeannette, PA, the son of Mary Lou (Osenkowski)   and Frank Wilson McGara.  Joseph served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed as a home maintenance manager.

William David Acree, Sr.

William David Acree, Sr., age 89 of Yalaha, Florida passed away on Monday, June 24, 2017 in Orlando.  He was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky the son of Roy David and Laura (Shaw) Acree and was employed as a chemical engineer.

Interment will be at 12:30 pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
