Gustavo Joaquim Delgado, age 85, of Ocoee, passed away Thursday, May 19th, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital, Orlando. He was born in Cape Verde Islands, on August 20, 1930, the son of the late Joaquim Delgado and Antonia Delgado and was employed as a barber.
Gustavo leaves to cherish his memory seven daughters, Fabiola Delgado of Paris, France, Katie Delgado of Orlando, Yolande Richardson of Orlando, Marie Christine Temple of Grapevine, TX, Gisele DeBarros of Sanford, FL, Danielle Delgado of Orlando, Casimira Jacques of Kissimmee; three sons Louis Delgado of Providence, RI, Joaquim Delgado of Providence, RI, Emmanuel Delgado of West Africa; sister Guiomare Delgado of Cape Verde Islands. two brothers Gregory Delgado of Kissimmee; Philippe Delgado of Providence, RI; and numerous grandchildren.
A Private family funeral service will be held.

You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious little Ja'Mari. While you are grieving, I hope you will find comfort from the Scriptures and the accounts about young children who passed away and restored back to life by the prophets, Elijah and Elisha(I Kings 17:8-24: II Kings 4:8-37) the apostle Paul(Acts 20:7-12)and Jesus Christ when he restored a young girl back to life, just imagine the parent's joy. And when he saw a funeral procession of the only son of a widow; he approached the bier, touched the young boy and restored him back to life.(Luke 7:11-15;.Luke 8:49-56). Just imagine the joy when Jesus in the near future, resurrect and restore millions back to life on the renewed Paradise earth and you are reunited with your loved one. Until then, may GOD (Psalms 83:18)grant you peace and comfort now, during this time of sorrow.-Matthew 5:4.
I would like to offer my sincere condolences for your loss. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection, when Jesus will restore life to the dead(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43. My dear father I miss you so much. My consolation is to know that you are with the Lord in Heaven. I was so fortunate to spend these past 3 years with you. I will always cherish the good time we had together. You were a great father, a great man. I ask that you forgive me if I ever offended you.
