Michael Dean Ragsdale (Orlando) was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Michael went home to be with his savior on Thursday, Sept 2, 2021 at the age of 58.
Michael
was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease – Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) in
December 2015. He fought a long, hard,
and courageous fight, he always had a very positive attitude in his battle with
this debilitating disease. He had an extensive career in the staffing industry
for over 35 years that spanned from Florida, Georgia, and Texas. He was a laid back, quiet man devoted to his
family and friends, and a true animal lover.
He enjoyed a robust political conversation as he was an avid follower of
the political stage.
Michael
was born to Vonda Lee Taylor and Harry Louis Ragsdale on September 29, 1962 in Key
West, Florida. Predeceased by his
parents and brother Tim, he leaves to mourn his wife Fran (Orlando), son Bryan,
stepson Wesley Nott (Tannia), granddaughters Aurora and Viviana, brothers Robert,
Chris, and Harry (Susie).
In lieu
of flowers donations can be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s
Research or a charity of your choice.
According to Michael’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
