Edward James Muscanell, Jr., aka Eddie, 31, passed away peacefully in the company of family and friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016. He is survived by his mother and father, Maureen and Edward Muscanell, Sr., his sister, Nicole Muscanell (Bryan Murch), and his brother, Ryan Muscanell. Eddie was a beloved son and brother, a hard worker, and all-around genuinely loveable guy. Growing up, Eddie was a shy, but loveable and very respectful boy. He enjoyed bowling on Saturdays and playing little league baseball each week at the Dr. Phillips YMCA. He also loved to go on camping trips all over Florida with his family, and riding bikes and fishing in the neighborhood he grew up in. Eddie also spent a lot of time sitting at the family dinner table, refusing to drink his milk and eat his vegetables, especially peas. Even though Eddie did not completely outgrow his dislike for vegetables, he grew into a man who was as just as loveable as he was when he was a kid. As a young man, Eddie earned his license as a journeyman and worked as a union electrician. He was a hard worker and was well-respected by his fellow electricians. Besides being a devoted friend, son, and brother, Eddie eventually became a connoisseur of some of life’s finest things including: The Dallas Cowboys, fishing, boats, and chicken wings. His family, friends, colleagues, and his beloved dog, Bailey will miss him tremendously. But, we will all take comfort in the fact that he has gone on to a more peaceful life, where he can eat as many wings as he wants and watch the Cowboys (sometimes) win.
Funeral services for Eddie will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016. A viewing will be held from 11:30 to 1:00 PM, followed by a short service at Dobbs Funeral Home. Immediately following the service, there will be an escorted procession to Winter Garden Cemetery.

I am sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection(Acts 24:15)and the renewed Paradise earth, where death will be no more and no family will mourn the death of a loved one.-Revelation 21:3,4;John 5:28,29;Luke 23:43. may GOD(Psalms 83:18)grant you peace and comfort now, during this grievous time.-Matthew 5:4.
I don't know the family personally but just lost my brother at the same young age of 31. I want to send the family some thoughts and prayers and hope with time they find some comfort, but of course they will never forget this young man.
I worked with Eddie at Publix when were in High School. He made my day everyday that we worked together. Even if I was having a bad day he always made me laugh with his silly jokes. I remember one time we went to Universal Studios together and that was the most fun I had at the parks, not because of the rides but because of Eddie being himself. Sadly I loss touch with him when I changed jobs and then joined the military. I am so sad to hear that he is gone; I will never forget him...
Aunt Maureen,Uncle Ed, Nicole,Ryan - nothing can erase the immense pain you are no doubt feeling at this terrible time. Through the tears and sadness, you can hopefully remember ,with love and fondness, the joy and time spent with Eddie. While his presence may no longer be with you physically, his indelible spirit and zest for life, shall live in all of our hearts forever. With love, always- Jim Cooley
