A true native
Floridian, Beverly Ann Hall was born in Orlando on March 16, 1943 to parents
Troy Garvin and Lottie Mae Myers Garvin. She was predeceased by her two older
sisters, Kay Frances Garvin King and Norma Jean (Toby) Garvin Fryer. Beverly
grew up on the west side of Orlando and graduated from Maynard Evans High
School.
After living
most of her life in the Orlando area, Beverly moved to Deland, Florida in 2001.
She was active in the Garden Club in Deland and was an avid butterfly lover,
searching out milkweed, creating waystations, protecting caterpillars and
releasing new butterflies into the sky.
She was a
homemaker, loved to shop and had an amazing eye for home décor. She had a green
thumb and loved adding extensive flower beds all over her yards. She was a
foodie, spending hours in the kitchen trying new recipes and cooking with her
husband. Nothing made her happier than hosting parties and spending time with
family and friends. She was known for her festive Christmas displays, filling
her homes with multiple elaborately decorated trees.
Beverly moved to Clermont, Florida in 2019 after
the death of her husband. She passed away on November 18, 2021. She leaves
behind her daughter, Stacia of Winter Garden, FL and two grandchildren, Elysse
of Miami, FL (husband Jorge) and Thomas of Winter Garden, FL.
